Deep tan skin beware

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm deep tan complexion (NC42 am 310 in Fenty) and this sunscreen leaves a slight cast on me. The tint is not deep enough but it's not too bad either. If I dust a little power (Charlotte tilbury in shade 3) you cannot even tell. I love the texture and feel and it doesn't leave me greasy. If you have medium/tan skin this would be the perfect tint for you. The only thing I'm not loving is the pump. EltaMD, please use different packaging because this pump is really hard to work with. Sometimes it doesn't dispense the product and it gets really frustrating.

Perfect tinted spf

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I needed a new sunscreen and really wanted to try Elta MD after hearing nothing but good things about the brand and chose this one. It is perfect for my oily combo skin and doesn't break me out. I top it off with some concealer and powder and that's it. Hopefully it will hold up during the hot summer months.

Nice product

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I like this version better then the Elta MD physical. This has a bit more moisture to it, thinner consistency, and the tint is nice. There is a bit of a shine at first so if you want a more matte finish the Physical version would be a good option. Most days I just wear this without a lot of makeup for an easy look. I have repurchased. .

Great tinted moisturizer

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried several mineral sunscreen moisturizers and this has been my favorite. Some are too drying and some too oily, but this feels great, looks great and has broad spectrum coverage.

Favorite summer product

The best lightweight product for summer. Gives you enough color to help even out skin tone, while also protecting your skin. Great!

Arrived with broken pump applicator

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

The product may be excellent but the packaging and the Dermstore return policy is not. The product arrived with broken pump applicator. There is no tube attached to the pump-just a short nub. I assume it is broken off and not visible in the contents of the tube. If I return it, I will receive a store credit in exchange for free shipping.

Excellent Hydrating Sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Unlike many SPF's (especially physical sunscreens) this one actually keeps your skin hydrated all day! If your primary concern is anti-aging or dryness, this would be a good option for you. However, I have combination, acne prone skin (plus dehydration) and this sunblock and this still works great for me! It does not break me out or cause irritation. It also hydrates without making your skin greasy or shiny throughout the day. In terms of the tint, I have fair skin and the color of this product still works for my skin tone. I actually don't wear any foundation or concealer anymore in my day-to-day, just this suncreen and powder on top! I could see this sunscreen being too dark for very fair skin tones however. I 100% recommend.

lightweight, evens skin tone, great for oily skin

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

My dermatologist kept pushing this on me... I resisted because all sunscreen on my face feels heavy, gooey and alters the color of my powder foundation. finally I relented on this one and I have never looked back. It has this amazing ability to melt into my skin, not feeling slippery or tacky, just smooth. goes on evenly and actually is improving the appearance of my skin over time, to the point now where I often skip the powder foundation. My only complaint, the pump stops working after a while. It's not a big deal, I just unscrew the top and dab some on the back of my hand and dip my fingers in it for facial application. Also glad that it has no scent!

Wow! Really impressed!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Wow! I was hesitant about buying a tinted sunscreen online but I am so glad I did! I've used a Nars tinted moisturizer for years but wanted better sun protection. This product is amazing. I am really surprised how flattering the tint is (I have an olive skin tone). You'll definitely want to set this with powder but after that it keeps my combo skin matte ALL day. I don't even need blotting papers anymore. I have sensitive skin and this did not seem to irritate it. I do feel like it's slightly more comfortable when I put a light moisturizer on before this sunscreen. The pump does not work but I love this product so much I will definitely repurchase.
