Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

Great sunscreen, but pricy
I like the feel and texture of this sunscreen. This product is very easy to spread across my face and absorbs quickly. The tint is also on point, I'm fair so this gives me a slight tan. The only part that i dislike is i believe it's over-priced.

EltaMD UV Elements sunscreen
Its light weight and moisturizing, but not too much for my oily skin. It doesn't break me out or cause texture. The tint is fine on my light skin. No orange color. It has the coverage of a tinted moisturizer. Love it!

This is definitely not a moisturizer, and the tint is slightly too dark to wear alone on my fair skin (Mac NC 15). But it is a very good sunscreen. Wears surprising well under makeup, especially for a mineral sunscreen. This is the choice for those with sensitive skin who need a reliable mineral sunscreen and wear makeup.

I like it when used with other sunscreen
I was actually going to return this because it is orangey on my skin tone but decided to try to make it work. I like using it in conjunction with the elta md uv physical, because that one is a tad too light for me. I either use this one as a very subtle bronzer, or i put a layer of this on first and then a layer of the elta md uv physical on. I like the combination. Alone, I’m not a fan but I could see it working for others. It actually makes more pores look larger which I don’t enjoy. The elta md uv physical actually has a pore blurring effect.

Looks great if you are warm-toned
I bought this for my spouse who is warm toned and it looks amazing. However, I tried it (as someone who is cool-toned) and it definitely appeared a bit orange on me. The texture is really nice though.

Hands down favorite mineral sunscreen and brown girl approved
I have super sensitive skin and have suffered with hormonal acne for years. I've been treating the acne with prescription tretinoin, so sunscreen is a must. As any darker skinned gal knows, finding a high spf mineral sunscreen with minimal to no white cast is like finding a unicorn. This one is hands down my favorite. The tinted version is soothing and provides great mineral sunscreen protection with minimal white cast. It's moisturizing and dries down to a nice matte finish without drying out the skin. I highly recommend this one.

Not for Me
Felt heavy on my skin (like I was wearing foundation) and made me oily. Made pores more visible. The tint - definitely not universal; cool tones beware, this might make you look a little orange.

Hands down my favorite sunscreen to use daily - I love that it is chemical free. It goes on clear but has a nice tint and never leaves my face greasy. Win win!

Tint too orange
Sadly this product looked too orange/fake tan on my face (I'm Asian with light skin). I was hoping this would work out to be a hydrating option. I have been using the EltaMD UV physical SPF 41, which complements my skin tone perfectly, but was hoping to find a more hydrating option. This did feel nice and hydrating on the skin, but the tint was just too much. If it came in "lightly tinted" like UV physical SPF 41, I think it would be perfect for me.
