Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

Makes me love wearing sunscreen
UV Elements totally saved my skin. I was suffering from really bad perioral dermatitis, and switched to this from the UV Clear- the full mineral is so much better for my skin! EltaMD honestly makes me love sunscreen again. I bought the Restore for the winter, but will use Elements for the warmer months. I also HIGHLY suggest tinted. It's a bit dark for me, being a fair redhead, but the coverage is thin so doesn't end up being too significant of a difference.

Great product, bad packaging
I love this product, but the last 2 times I've ordered it, the pump does not work. The only way to get it out of the tube is to unscrew the top entirely and squeeze it into your hand. Which invariably means too much comes out, resulting in wasted product. Very frustrating. Is there some trick I don't know about? It's too expensive for bad packaging. The first time I figured it was a fluke, but now may need to switch to something else...

Great sunscreen, worst packaging
In terms of product, this is my favorite Elta sunscreen, especially in winter because it's more hydrating than UV Clear, but I absolutely cannot stand the packaging. Why do they not put this in a pump?! I'm assuming to differentiate the products but the tube is terrible and you find yourself taking off the top to squeeze product out no where near the end of its total usage. Just frustrating!

Great mineral sunscreen
I've recently began exploring chemical free sunscreens and this is the first one I've tried. It does have a thicker consistency and I don't know yet if it will ultimately make me break out. I generally like using elta md products so I do see myself using this product in the future. However, I am not sure if I can use it all year or if it feels too heavy. I am happy that this has all the ingredients I look for in a day time moisturizer.

Perfect for olive skin tones
This sunscreen provides natural looking coverage with a smooth matte finish. It is not so matte, however, that it ages my 40s skin like other sunscreens. No tint is actually universal, and this one seems made for people like me with olive tones. I usually use Elta MD UV Clear, which has more ingredients for rosacea. Like others, I found the pump a bit trying the first few times but now it works perfectly.
