Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

My new favorite EltaMD product
I previously would buy the daily spf but I wanted to give this one a try simply based on my desire to switch over to zinc oxide spf. I thought it was going to be cakey or oily but it is now my new go to! I did have to pump several times to get spf out the first time but it applies smoothly and is more of a matte finish in comparison to the daily spf. I love that it's tinted and doesn't make my face oily. I have not used it under makeup but I think it will be just fine. Absolutely love it though and it was better than I expected. Again, it's a thicker consistency than the UV Daily and it's not a dewy finish but applies smoothly and looks amazing without makeup.

Hydrating and goes well under make-up or worn alone. I'm on my 4th bottle of this and it is now a staple. My only gripe is the dispenser/pump. Two bottles I've received did not have functioning pumps so I have to unscrew it and apply it. Just annoying, but the product is great.

People with color, Read this.
This is a product I have seen hyped everywhere especially for colored skin tones, and man am I disappointed. Two stars because this is the first time I'm trying out a sunscreen that doesn't make me look greasy. I like the matte consistency. However if you're going to claim 'universally tinted' it should stick by the claims, which is false. I'm a shade fenty 330, I consider myself dark but I'm not at the end of the shade spectrum and this sunscreen makes me look grey and ashy as a ghost. There goes to being natural everyday. I can only wear this under make-up, which if you're fine with and you're colored, go right ahead. Otherwise if you're like me who don't like wearing makeup everyday, I'm sure we can find a sunscreen in the market that doesn't make us dull down our skin tone. If you aren't universally flattering, stop the claims so people can spend the money else where. Thank you.

Tint isn't universal
The tint was too orange for me and left weird streaks. It's also too dewy for me and so I always needed to put powder on top. Not the worst sunscreen ever, just wasn't for me.

Favorite Sunscreen!
Amazing tinted sunscreen that works great to even your skin tone out. This sunscreen is moisturizing, but not greasy and works great around the eye area without burning or stinging my sensitive eyes. My only issue is with the pump on the bottle. This is my second bottle in a row where it sometimes will not pump out correctly, and I usually have to open up the cap and just squeeze it directly out of the bottle. Aside from that amazing!

Good sunscreen but tint is not for everyone
Like other EltaMD mineral sunscreen it was not irritating, but the tint did not match my skintone. I am relatively fair (NW15) and this was much too dark to wear alone. It did not significantly oxidize. It also took a little bit to get the product out because of the design but once it started flowing it was not an issue.

Can use super-sensitive skin
I am on my treatment, which causes my skin peeling. Even with the condition, this sunscreen never gives me irritation. The reason why I did not give 5 star was that the tint is a bit dark for me. I hope there are color variations.

Moisturizer or Foundation?
I heard about Elta MD and wanted to give it a chance since the tinted moisturizer I do use is expensive. My skin is light to medium, olive toned. I have combination oily T-zoned skin. This moisturizer blends in well and I think it is thicker than my previous moisturizer but it gets the job done. I love how it has sunscreen but not the sunscreen look or smell. However, I'm not sure if it is better than my other one I was using. But I do like it and I like the price and the benefits.
