The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

My new favorite sunscreen! Love!!
I was so happy to find a MINERAL sunscreen that was effective and had good ingredients for my skin. This product is completely what I was looking for. It hydrates, yet I can powder over it for my combo skin. It has a tint which I love-I can get away with just the sunscreen if I want to. It layers well with my other makeup products and IT WORKS! I took my dogs for a walk and didn't bring a hat. The sun was beating down on my face the entire 40 minutes and I was so regretting bringing my hat. I really expected to be slightly red, since it was in the late afternoon and I had applied my sunscreen in the early morning. BUT--I did not notice ANY redness ... ! ... IT WORKED GREAT!! I will be repurchasing over and over!

I love this physical sunscreen!! It has completely helped control the re-appearance of some dark spots of my forehead that I had finally been able to get rid of! I still cont. to hang in the sun and this has eliminated the need for any foundation for me since my skin is at a point where I don't need to cover up too much. Def. more than sheer coverage to me. I even put it on my lips and like the color they are afterwards ;) add gloss and good!

ALMOST Perfect.....
For the last few years I have been in an epic quest to find the perfect mineral sunscreen. I really wanted this to be "The One," but the search continues. For reference, I am in my forties, have fair, dry skin with wrinkles, fine lines, large pores and redness. I cannot use chemical sunscreens as they burn my skin and eyes. This sunscreen applies easily, blends quickly and does not get tangled up in my brows and hairline. It is comfortable to wear, with no itching, burning or irritation. It provides light coverage, like a BB cream and the finish is very natural looking. For me, it evened out my skin tone, slightly softened the texture of my pores and gave my skin a glow that wasn't greasy looking. It settled into the wrinkles under my eyes only slightly and not very noticeably. Sadly, the tint just was not right. When first applied, it is only ever so slightly too dark for me, but it gets darker and more orange looking as the hours pass. By midday my face and neck look unnaturally tan. So, I love everything about this sunscreen EXCEPT the tint. If you have a medium to tan skin tone, this could be perfect for you. If Elta MD were to ever add a lighter shade, I would be back to try it again in a heartbeat.

I liked the consistency of this sunscreen and the fact that it is mineral based but the color was very orange and too dark. I am fair to light with pink to neutral undertones. There was too big a difference in the color of the product and my natural skin so it looked really fake on me. I'm going to try an untinted version. It might work for medium skin tone people though.

Pump doesn't work, a little dark
Love Elta MD sunscreens, but am not as pleased overall with this one. The tint is darker than expected and needs to be mixed with another product to make it wearable on fair skin. The pump doesn't work either so it's a little messy to use. I wanted to love this one but I don't.

Great Product - - Questionable Color
Love this sunscreen! As someone with sensitive skin and rosacea it is completely non-irritating and not greasy or shiny. Just feels like you're wearing your normal moisturizer. The color however is another issue...a little too orange, doesn't blend in too well. Wish they would make options. Although it does seem to even out as you wear it somehow so that it looks much better when you catch yourself in the mirror an hour later than when you first put it on.
