Meet our newest Elements - an antioxidant-rich facial SPF made for skin, not just the sun. The technology in UV AOX Elements not only protects your skin outdoors, with 100% mineral actives to reflect and scatter UVA and UVB rays, but also protects your skin indoors by blocking 56% of HEV (blue light from screens), which is 39% more than our original UV Elements formula. This tinted sunscreen contains antioxidants that help to combat signs of photoaging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, and is proven to reduce detrimental effects of multi-environmental aggressors (i.e., UV, Ozone and PM) by 96%. UV AOX Elements features hyaluronic acid to increase hydration and moisture retention, and bisabolol & ginger root to help calm the skin and visibly reduce redness.

POC This Sunscreen Will Make you Turn Gray
I think this is an excellent physical sunscreen. It feels good on my skin, and I am sure it provides excellent protection from the sun's rays. HOWEVER, if you are a person of color, this will cause a gray/whitish/purple cast to your skin. I was told that it "blends" with all skin tones. That simply is not true! I wish it were true. I may return it for something I can actually wear outside of the house without having to use full coverage make-up. I give it 3 stars because I believe it is one of the best sunscreens, just not for dark skin with this tint. I would love it if these sunscreen companies would offer tints in a larger variety of ranges so that their products would be more inclusive of all skin tones.

I have rosacea and I have the most sensitive skin! Great texture and feel, Bad tint color
So far, I have tried alot of EltaMD's sunscreens. When I tried Element, I thought it was the perfect combination of the Clear and Physical versions. It was matte without being as dry as physical and felt non greasy. BUT what bothers me is the tint is somewhat orange. Why?!

Great under makeup
The tint on this sunscreen is almost too light for me so it's better under makeup. For no makeup days, I prefer the UV CLEAR Tinted sunscreen because the color blends in perfectly to my NC42 skin. It's a mineral sunscreen so of course the consistency is thicker and takes more work rubbing it in than UV CLEAR.
