Best Mineral Sunscreen
If you're going to get a mineral spf, this is the one. The sunscreen goes on white and sinks in clear 3-5 min after application. Don't worry about vigorously rubbing it in - just make sure it goes on evenly and it'll sink in in due time after that. I have acne-prone skin with rosacea, so I was originally drawn to this sunscreen for its helpfulness with rosacea. This sunscreen does not irritate my rosacea or make me break out. It even has a redness calming effect on my skin. Downsides: - not waterproof at ALL - the spf does not claim to be waterproof, but do note that it will run down your face and get in your eyes while working out. I now take off the spf before a workout and put it on again after - there is pilling if the product dries after not being rubbed in evenly. Though I think this is common with mineral sunscreens and this EltaMD has pretty minimal pilling - the anti-redness effect I've noticed on my skin is great but also can be off-putting at times as it can look like the slightest white cast in certain lighting. Still better than any other mineral sunscreen I've tried when it comes to cast Upsides: - not greasy at all: once dry, the sunscreen gives you a slight glow and is dry to the touch - great packaging: the pump packaging makes it easy to make sure you are getting the recommended 1/2 teaspoon for face/neck without measuring - layers well under makeup Overall, this is the best mineral sunscreen I have ever tried. the downsides I listed above are pretty much impossible to avoid with a mineral sunscreen, so if you are looking for a mineral spf this is the gold standard.

Best SPF if you have acne
After trying many SPFs, this is the only one I love enough to consistently use every single day. It does not break me out, goes on light, and never irritates my skin. I have tried SkinC, Dr. Barbara Sturm, Supergoop, Darphin, Kiehls, and drugstore brands and this is by far the best. I use it daily after my moisturizer and in the summer always have it in my beach bag with me. It is strong enough to protect my face and chest even in the strongest sun without flaring up my acne.

favorite sunscreen ever!
I have tried my fair share of sunscreens and every single one I come across has been oily and greasy feeling and gross. This sunscreen is the complete opposite of that. It's lightweight, refreshing, and doesn't make my skin oily at all. It's honestly perfection in a bottle.
