Lives up to the hype
I bought this after my dermatologist recommended it, and seeing all the positive reviews online. I have to say, it lives up to the hype: super lightweight and feels like you're not wearing anything. Great under makeup, too. And nice that it is zinc-based (but micronized so no white residue) so you're not getting yucky chemicals. Definitely recommend!

Not For Me
This has so many great reviews, but it really was not for me. I was using a different sunscreen (Supergoop) and had heard good things about Elta, so I decided to try this one. However, it irritated my skin and made me very red. I gave it a break and tried it again a few days later, only to find the same result. I usually do not have sensitivity issues with other products, but this just did not work for me at all.

Causes Cystic Acne
I purchased this because it is highly rated and non comedogenic but within a few weeks I started getting cystic acne on my chin. I researched the ingredients and it is loaded with comedogenic ingredients. I currently have 5 huge pimples that are painful and will take months to fully heal. Very unhappy with this product.

Well, after my first use, I thought I'd be joining this bandwagon, and I was right. I've used it consistently for over a month-under all kinds of conditions-and I find NO fault in this product. It applies like a dream, holds up to a sweaty workout, and even serves as almost a cosmetic-grade primer under makeup. It lives up to the #1 dermatologist recommended hype, and then some. The retail price would normally be a little high for me, but I make an exception for this because it does it all. This sunscreen can take all my money- I already have plans for ordering backups.

This product is excellent- this review is specific to the abysmal customer service I've experienced. have been a customer for a few years and place several large orders a year. Because we are retired, we have a different billing and ship to address. Our book keeper takes care of all invoices. The last four times I have tried to place orders DS cancels my order because I have a different bill and ship to! The last time it happened I spoke with customer service who assured me this would never happen again and they would place a note on my account. I've been waiting for three weeks to receive my order. I finally found out they cancelled again. BEWARE- they are not user friendly. I am STILL waiting for a response.
