Best product I've discovered this year
This product has become an absolute must in my beauty arsenal. I have fairly oily skin for an old lady. I use retinols which makes my skin sensitive at times and many other sunscreens burn for a few minutes after I apply. The Elta MD feels like a luxurious soothing moisturizer when I apply and soaks into my mature skin making it feel soft and supple.

Elta MD UV Clear is the best!
I have been using Elta MD sunscreen for a few years now, first being introduced to the product at the plastic surgeons office. The R.N. recommended that I use the Elta MD products as she noticed that I had some melasma around my cheek areas. I started with the tinted UV protector, but after finishing the bottle, I switched over to the clear. My skin is olive toned and tints sometimes do not agree with my coloring so the clear was the best choice for me in the long run. All I can say is that this is my favorite UV protector ever! Being that it has zinc oxide and other natural core ingredients, makes it even better. I am a person who does not like using chemical based products in my home or on my body, so I do whatever I can to eliminate such products..

I've used this for two years after it was recommended by my dermatologist. Best I've ever used. I have combination/ oily skin that is prone to break outs. Especially in the summer being a runner living in a humid climate. This goes on like a moisturizer and doesn't aggravate my skin at all.

Good SPF Protection
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 is a solid product that provides excellent SPF protection. It does not cause my oily / sensitive / combo skin any issues at all. I love that it eventually dries down to a matt finish, but it does take a while to dry which delays my make-up application. I take a way 2 stars because this sunscreen has the word "Clear" in the title and it is not clear for a person with dark skin such as myself. The zinc in the product leaves a white cast on my face which is difficult for me to cover with make-up. I can not use this sunscreen on make-up free days. My search continues. I would recommend this to my friends with fair complexions. Also this sunscreen is rather difficult to remove. I sometimes still have a white cast on my skin after washing my face. I have to remove using the double cleanse method.

Very nice, but still deciding whether I will repurchase
I bought this sunscreen upon the recommendation of many women who are part of a beauty Facebook group I participate in. I think it's great and has the least white cast of any zinc sunscreen I've tried so far (although still has some if you use a lot, which I do). I use mineral sunscreens pretty much exclusively due to sensitive skin. I also love that it feels like it actually sinks into my skin rather than having a silicone-shield feeling that most mineral sunscreens have! My only qualm is the price... I will see what my gut says when I finish this bottle whether I repurchase or try out something new.
