The only sunscreen I ever wanna use everyday
I have tried more sunscreens than I would like to admit, and this has always remained my favorite. I have been using it daily for almost 2 years now and have gotten family members hooked. I have dry and somewhat sensitive skin but this does not give me any problems. Goes on smooth, clear , feels great and I do not have that urge to wash my face first thing when I get home after a long day. My only con would be the price and that I go through the bottle too quickly, but still absolutely worth it.

Great Protection and Good Under Makeup
This sunscreen is great for protection and under makeup. It does have a sunscreen consistency but once you work it in a bit, I found no problems wearing it under a full face of makeup. There was no pilling or change in quality or color of my makeup. I will continue to purchase unless I can find something similar for cheaper. I will say that there is a slight chemical smell. It takes a little while for it to go away after applying.

not sure it's for me
This was recommend to me by my dermatologist but as much as I wanted to like it based on the many good reviews I've read for it I think it's just not for my skin and I have since found better sunscreens for my skin. The problem that I have with it is that if my skin is being sensitive this worsens it and it also piles with my other skincare products which is very annoying. I would only recommend it to someone who doesn't have sensitive skin.

Disappointed
I was really excited to try this product after reading the reviews, but I've been pretty disappointed with it so far. It doesn't break my out or irritate my sensitive skin at all but it pills like crazy! It feels like it just sits on top of my skin all day. This might be an error on my part so I will keep playing with it and update my review but so far I am super bummed with it.

Been using this sunscreen for 10+ years
I have been using Elta MD sunscreen for over 10 years. My dermatologist recommended it when I was in high school to help with rosacea and acne. He also said it still allows healthy red and blue light through, like the red and blue light therapy you can get at a derm office or med spa. I have never had a sunburn when using this product and I believe it has helped with facial redness.

Does Not Irritate My Sensitive Eyes
My dermatologist had recommended a different brand of sunscreen, but I have extremely sensitive eyes and have found that stearic acid or other stearates irritate them, and the other brand contains stearic acid. So I stumbled upon this since it is so highly rated and showed up in the search for sunscreens. My only problem with it is that I did not notice that it is for more oily or acne-prone skin, which I used to have, but am now over 70, and my skin is normal to dry. That is not the fault of the sunscreen, however. I then tried the Daily version, and it works just great (and does not irritate my eyes, either). When reading through the descriptions of the various versions of the EltaMD sunscreens, I was a bit overwhelmed and confused, but EltaMD's website, eltamd.com, has a very helpful chart for the various skin types under the tab Regimens.
