EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

Love this sunscreen. I bought the regular one first, then tried the tinted. Love both. I have very fair skin and the tinted gives my skin a nice glow. Does not make me break out like other sunscreens and doesn't have a strong smell.

Elta MD UV Clear SPF
I've been using this SPF for several years. It has a great texture and is super silky compared to other SPFs. The tinted version is great and I think is more neutral, and works well for golden or deeper tones (it's not pink-based like other SPFs). It also dries nicely and works well under makeup. I find though that I have to let it sit and dry for a while before applying any layer on top, otherwise it will pill.

Great product, a pinch too dark
I ordered this after seeing the recommendation in InStyle. I must say, hands down, this has been one of the "holy grails" I've been lucky enough to find. I have trouble with an oily T-zone and dark spots from the sun and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This product manages all of the above. My skin is dewy, my dark spots are fading, and in the meantime, this provides the perfect amount of light, sheer coverage. I have quite fair skin, so I have to mix it with the untinted so it's so dark. And, for some reason, it doesn't work with my usual serum, so I have to skip that step in the AM, or else it will congeal.

Great sunscreen, but color didn't match my skin tone
Knowing the regular non-tinted version of UV Clear SPF 46 works great for my combination acne-prone skin, I wanted to try the tinted version as perhaps an alternative for the days I just need a sheer color on my face. This works just as well as the non-tinted version, but the color was too brownish yellow for my fair Asian skin tone. Other than that, it's a great sun screen for someone with acne prone skin.
