EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

Tint is pretty sheer, sunscreen is great
I've been using the normal Elta MD sunscreen for awhile and was very happy with it. I was trying to steer away from wearing foundation (I really don't need it with a mask on all the time anyway!) so I went for the tinted version. The tint is honestly so sheer and close to my natural skin color that I can hardly tell the difference from the normal Elta MD sunscreen. However, I've noticed that I subconsciously use more of this one in an attempt to get "coverage" (which you'll never really get because it's so sheer), so I guess that's a good thing! I'll probably continue to use this one but wouldn't be opposed to using the original instead. Great overall sunscreen.

Only Sunscreen I Can Use
I have mild acne and rosacea, my face is really sensitive to most products and this is the only sunscreen that I can wear without getting chemical burns. My dermatologist suggested it and gave me a few samples of the tinted UV Clear and I absolutely love it. Not only does it not burn my face after wearing it all day (8 am to 8 pm) over my acne medication, but it helps tone down the mild rosacea that I have on my cheeks and nose. I highly recommend it. I do not wear foundation as I feel like it settles in my fine lines (I'm almost 40) and prior acne marks, this tinted sunscreen does not settle or crease like I've noticed foundation does. It goes on smooth over my acne medication and moisturizer and does not pill. It does not burn my eyes either, which is a real common side effect I have to sunscreen. I am very light skinned and was afraid at first that the tint would make my face look darker than my neck, but it doesn't at all. It doesn't really add color, but more calms any redness down that I had on my face from acne/rosacea.

I've always had to use sunscreen on my face for I get freckles when I'm out in the sun. And I've always had issues with how white and caked and oily my face looks after applying the regular sunscreens. This just blends and seems to be absorbed like I don't have anything on at all. And it doesn't have that white goo residue when you start to sweat or wear glasses. I don't mind putting a lot of sunscreen on my face now considering how unnoticeable it is. My favorite sunscreen
Best tinted sunscreen I have used. I have combination acne-prone skin and with drugstore sunscreens my T-zone would get very oily. Anytime I wore sunscreen I felt like I had to wear makeup for my skin to look even and non-greasy. Now, I only use this. No shiny T-zone, smaller pores, brightening. I've added this to my favorites.
