EltaMD's UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46 - Tinted calms and protects sensitive skin types prone to discoloration and breakouts from the sun's harmful rays. The universally flattering tint blends to match your skin tone and mask discoloration and breakouts to give you a smooth, flawless-looking complexion. Healing niacinamide alleviates inflammation to calm your acne flare-ups and helps decrease signs of hyperpigmentation.

This sunscreen provides perfect cover when I am not wearing makeup, and looks great with just mascara. It's very hydrating so I use it following a toner and hyaluronic acid serum (skip moisturizer). I can reapply/layer throughout the day and will not break out!

Best SPF for acne-prone skin
This is the only sunscreen that doesn't break me out and doesn't feel sticky. I stopped wearing a BB cream or foundation since it works as a tinted moisturizer, I would only apply concealer if I need extra coverage. I would highly recommend it!

Favorite for sensitive skin (rosacea)
I'm writing this review after MANY purchases of this product, and more so from the ELTA MD line. I have pretty fair skin and rosacea-this is the ONLY product that I feel does a good job at keeping my skin hydrated but not oily, and keeps everything under control.

My fave daily sunscreen
I have oily skin, and have found this is a great sunscreen for my skin type. I prefer the tinted sunscreen, because I have melasma and I am a woman of color. This doesn't provide much coverage but it does have Octinoxate which helps prevent hyper pigmentation. This isn't waterproof, so if you know you will be in water or it is a hot day, you will need to use something else, or reapply frequently. I use Cerave Daily Moisturizer and then apply my sunscreen. This sunscreen applies well and absorbs well. I live in Arizona, so I sometimes add a primer with sunscreen on top of this, and no issues with pilling. I am very satisfied with this product!

Excellent product
Ok - I need a good broad spectrum skin product for my face as I have had some skin cancer. EltaMD is highly recommended by my dermatologist so I gave it a try. It applies very nicely and leaves my skin feeling enriched and protected. I think the tint is a bonus. You can't really notice it but it makes my skin look great. I have been using it now about six months and will continue to use it.

My Favorite Sunscreen
I have uneven freckly skin, and I have tried many different sunscreens. I have used Elta for a few years, somebody recommended an "organic" sunscreen that turned out to be thick, whites and pasty. Elta glides right on, I love the slight tint, it is not thick and greasy. I will never stray again.

I have searched for a product like this that is lightweight, yet moisturizing for my combination skin and I have finally found it. UV Clear absorbs quickly and doesn't smell like sunscreen. The tint isn't much so I still use foundation most days but this is a nice base to that and is good for my skin. Very pleased with this product, though I may opt for the non-tinted version in the future.
