Chemical ingredient, not mineral
I am very surprised that this chemical ingredient, Octinoxate, Is in an EltaMD product. This is one of the worst chemicals that could be put in here. I'm glad I did my homework and chose one of the other "physical"sunscreen products from this line.

great look after application, but I got burnt.
I think this Is great for under makeup and being inside near ambient sunlight, so at least you know you put something on, and it does give your skin a Nice glow after application, however, I did get burned on the first day of summer in Nashville wearing this (it wasn't that hot, but it was def. sunny), I had applied it about 1.5 hours earlier liberally, I was the shade with a hat on , but I was by a pond for one hour, the water I suspect was reflecting light back on to my face, and I got burned, so I was very disappointed in this product. and just so you know, I am fair skinned, so that makes me more susceptible to burning. back to my pharmacy OTC backup, I have a Thick white film of zinc on my face, but at least I know im protected.

I absolutely love this as a face sunscreen. It's super light and absolutely no white streaks. I had hoped it would be able to replace my daily sunscreen moisturizer but it's not hydrating enough for my super dry skin. I plan to buy a straight EltaMD moisturizer to wear as a base layer.
