My Favorite Daytime Sunscreen
I have been using Elta products for years and this has remained my favorite for daytime sunscreen use. It's lightwieght- some of the others have been heavy on my skin- and one pump is enough for my face and neck. My dermatologist has been recommending this brand for years and I'm happy to order it through Dermstore as opposed to visiting her office.

An okay sunscreen
I used to love this sunscreen when I first bought it but its not moisturizing enough. And when layered with other moisturizing products underneath it is way too greasy. Probably still could work for normal/combination skin types that dont need extra moisturizer in the morning.

Great Sunscreen
I started using this sunscreen because I saw it at my dermatologist's office. It has been quite some years and is still a favorite. I have combination skin and it works really well. I reapply during the day if I am out and I have never broken out. My skin tone is medium/tan and it never leaves a white cast, which is a dealbreaker for me.

Preferred Sunscreen
I accidentally switched to this sunscreen after ordering the EltaMD Daily SPF 46. I far prefer this formulation - it is lighter weight, absorbs better, and overall has a better texture than the other, thicker sunscreen. I have combination, acne prone skin and this does not irritate my skin. The SPF46 felt more greasy and seemed to sit on the skin more which is less ideal under makeup. There is also a noticeable color difference between the two sunscreens with the SPF46 being more yellow in color and the SPF30 white.

Great sunscreen moisturizer
I decided that I would splurge on a daily moisturizer (compared to my usual CeraVe) and was pleasantly surprised at the significant difference in product. When I ran out of the Elta for a few days, and had to use my old moisturizer, I was hit with a heavy sunscreen smell, which this product does not have! I also noticed how oily the CeraVe was, compared to the light and easily absorbable EltaMD. I ended up setting this product up as a subscription because I love it so much.
