The Wisdom of the Crowd
I have been looking for a good sunscreen for a while. Everything I tried either dried my face, or was too oily, or didn't like the lotion I was wearing, made me whiter than Caspar and so on. Finally after about the 20th e-mail from Dermstore telling me about the virtue of this sunscreen and how everyone under the sun in the know uses it, I gave in and bought one. This is simply THE BEST. I have dry skin, and it sinks into my skin, it does not make my face shinny, my face does not feel dry at the end of the day and no white cast. Also, when I double cleanse in the evening, other sunscreens who did not sink into my skin would gather up into little balls. Not this one. I tend to be very hard to please with most of the products I use, but this one is a hole in one.

AMAZING SUNSCREEN!
So, I was curious. This brand gets remarkable reviews on its sunscreens and so did the other sunscreens that I tried. I wasn't totally happy with the way the others felt after being on for a couple of hours. I switched to Elta MD and I was shocked that it was a sunscreen. It feels like a high priced moisturizer. Really. Not kidding. Plus, it's great under makeup. I am able to put this under my eyes without it feeling like anything. I'm so impressed.

Good Extra Moisture for Winter
I love Elta MD UV Clear for the summer but in the winter I need a little bit more moisture and find the Elta MD UV Daily is perfect for that. Would highly recommend for those with slightly dryer skin.

The only sunscreen we use now
I have two fair skinned redheads in my family - my hubby and my toddler. Both use sunscreen almost daily year round as we live in Southern CA where its sunny most days. My poor little one had the worst dry skin from the top-rated ThinkBaby we used to use. We switched to this and her skin is soooooooo much better! It goes on like a lotion not a sunscreen. The best!

I can barely use it- caused pimples
Every time I use this sunscreen, I hope my skin won't react to it but it does and it honestly sucks. I have combination skin with redness and every time I use this sunscreen, I break out that same day. I would describe it as sort of like a creamy thin paint because it's white and doesn't rub into the skin easily so you have to keep rubbing till the white cast goes away. At that point, my skin is red and hot and I'm just waiting to break out. For the price it is, it's disappointing and I wish I returned it.

I am an african american on the darker end of med complected. I've been working on my hyperpigmentation and was told I needed an spf to prevent further damage so went on the hunt for one. As a black woman it is known that most spf's cause flash back aka a white cast in pictures so I was looking for one that specifically addressed that issue. Every hr I look in the mirror and then take a pic to assess and I'm in love so far.... My skin normally needs a bit of time to adjust as far as greasiness when I add a new prod to my reggie but this stuff immediately benefited it which is very rare. I'm sold!!!!

Great and all but pills into small balls if it doesn't dry down completely. Let it dry down for a bit for placing more stuff on top.
