Dermotologist recommended, gave me a sample. I bought the full bottle and am very pleased. It is light weight, although it is white when you apply that color disappears within a minute. So am going to order second bottle for my purse and one for home. With my skin not taking any chances.

I have been using a preventative moisturizer for a while now but I have added this to my routine and love it. It is smooth and soft, I don't feel like it leaves a residue or anything like that. It feels so natural and I even feel like my makeup lasts longer now that I've been using it for a few weeks. Carry it everywhere!
Easy to use pump sunscreen which I carry in my purse at all times. Especially now when the sun is more powerful with the changing weather, I reapply when I'm out. This is gentle enough for my daughter to use too. A great product to keep that extra sunscreen in your bag without the mess!

Disappointed
I was excited to try this since In Style recommended it for dry skin as a daily moisturizer. For me, it is not moisturizing at all. At night, my face feels dry. It will be good for regular facial sun screen but will need something else to use on a daily basis.

White residue flakes off like the worst dry patches you've ever had in your life
This is the most annoying thing I've put on my face this year. No matter what I do- moisturize first, moisturize later, don't moisturize, use a cream, use an oil-this product flakes off. It even flakes off when I don't wear makeup. I first noticed it when I wore it under my concealer. A patting motion causes the sunscreen underneath to flake off like the worst dry patches you've ever had in your life. I've never experienced this with any cosmetic or skincare product. For reference, I have normal skin that is generally very well behaved.

Excellent for dry, acne prone skin w/rosacea
As a super fair, blue-eyed blonde who is interested in taking the best possible care of my skin, I'm a religious sunscreen user. Like won't leave my apartment to take the trash out without sunscreen-that's how religious I am about it. I also happen to work in Aesthetics, so I've tried SO many sunscreens and have always rotated through different ones for different needs--one for more dry days, one that works if I'm self tanned, one for if I'm not and my skin is more normal, one that's water resistant for the beach/pool, ect ect. This one is as close to perfect as I've ever found for my often flaky & dry (thanks retin-a/tretinoin), acne-prone & rosacea afflicted skin--it has replaced most of my sunscreen arsenal. It is mostly mineral (octinoxate doesn't bother my skin) w/ a high % of Zinc so broad spectrum, is moisturizing enough for my driest, flakiest days with moisturizer layered under it but still not too much on its own for normal days, is fragrance free, has NO tint (I'm too pale for any tint to work) & it spreads easily and works great under makeup (something I did NOT find to be true of UV Clear). I can't think of anything I'd change about it to be honest except maybe swap out the octinoxate for titanium dioxide so it would be a perfectly safe bet for even the most sensitive of skins. Just SO good and so fairly priced.

After reading previous reviews, I got high hopes for this sunscreen. It is lightweight and feels a bit moisturizing. But I was expecting more since I heard these were the "best sunscreens". It doesn't soften skin or have a pleasant scent - it actually doesn't smell like anything. Once it gets absorbed by the skin, it feels like I didn't apply anything at all, which can be a pro for some. I ended up feeling underwhelmed by this product. I won't be repurchasing but I would try another product from the same brand.
