Great for under makeup
I have tried countless facial sunscreens, searching for ones that can ACTUALLY be worn daily and under makeup - and this one has been added to my very small collection of ones that make the cut. This is definitely not greasy and doesn't get oily throughout the day. If I wear it alone, I notice my skin has a sort of satiny feel. However, I mostly wear this everyday under my makeup and it is wonderful. Little goes a long way. It is not waterproof so it can't also be used for those pool/beach days. I dislike the smell a bit, but don't notice it after a while. Love that its SPF 40. I've tried a lot in the Elta MD line and this one is a favorite. Definitely worth trying

nice but oily for my skin
this sunscreen goes on very smoothly on skin leaving no white cast but its very oily for my skin. my face look like a light bub after applied. and its a little sting for my sensitive skin. exchange to physical (oil free and for sensitive skin) hopefully, its work this time.

Love UV Daily more than UV Clear
I have used many bottles of eltaMD UV Clear until I decided to try UV Daily. My problem with UV Clear is that it tends to ball up and I have to wait a bit before applying makeup. Switching UV Daily solves the problem. No matter what time I put it on, my skin absorbs it quickly and is immediately ready for makeup. It's not greasy or tacky, doesn't leave a white cast. My primer (my go-to primers are Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer or BECCA Backlight Filter Primer) goes on smoothly. Will recommend and repurchase!

My Favorite Chemical Sunscreen
I have tried so many sunscreens and this one is by far my favorite. I have sensitive, oily, and acne skin and find this sunscreen to be light weight, matte, non-greasy, and it goes on well under makeup. Most sunscreens feel a bit tacky or heavy to me. Some leave a white cast. And others cause my make up or other layered products to pill. Finding the right combination is difficult. While this is my favorite sunscreen, I wish that it did not contain the chemical Octinoxate, a UV filter with high toxicity concerns. If there was a way to reformulate the sunscreen to contain only zinc, zinc and titanium dioxide, or zinc and a UV filter with low toxicity concerns, then I think this formula would hands down be the best one on the market.

The Best Sunscreen
I have used this sunscreen for a number of years now and love it. I live in south Texas and wear sunscreen every day applying it after my serum and moisture. Some days I don't even need a moisturizer. My skin is mature, dry and very sensitive. I will continue to use it and recommend it highly.

My favorite sunscreen BY FAR
How did I ever live without Elta UV Daily Broad-Spectrum SPF 40? No idea. I use it every day and it works great, moisturizes without being greasy. It has a faint scent but doesn't "smell". It also doesn't leave a white haze on my skin like other products, doesn't itch or burn. I use it daily and one container lasts me about 2 months. Well worth the money!
