Best sunscreen
I was given Elta MD UV Daily SPF 40 originally as a sample from my dermatologist.I loved how it felt on my face.It was unlike other facial sunscreens. Elta felt light ,left no residue or shine like some other facial sunscreen products.It is now part of my morning routine.

Decent sunscreen
I liked that it went on sheer, and soaked into the skin easily. I do not like that I felt very little mositure within 5 minutes of putting it on. In fact, my skin felt like it tightened up and I wanted to put more moisturizer on top of the sunblock, which I wouldn't normally do.

My doctor's favorite
This product was recommended by my dermatologist. She likes the hyaluronic acid that it contains to help moisturize. It is meant for the face but I love it on the top of my hands. It is in a sealed pump therefore meets by criteria for stabilized packaging. It also contains no oxybenzone. As a melanoma survivor I feel safe with this product. It can also be used on post procedure skin. It is a nice size to keep in a handbag.

Good, light sunscreen
I've done a lot of research on body lotions with sunscreen. I wanted something that met a number of criteria: vegan, not tested on animals, good rating from the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep project and light but a good moisturizer. Elta MD UV Daily SPF 40 really meets all these. My one complaint is that I find I need to use more than I might with another product to provide enough moisture for my skin.

No need to look further
I have sensitive combination skin that doesn't mesh well with just any product. I am out in the sun quite a bit and need the higher SPF. I've tried many products and have stayed with this product for more than 6 months now. It takes very little to cover your face and is light but moisturizing and can be worn under make-up. You won't regret giving this product a chance.

The best sunscreen to date
This is the best. I have tried a wide range of sunscreens from drugstore brands to the higher end products. This one is light, but still moisturizing. It is paraben-free. It has the dermatologist recommended zinc oxide but in a transparent form (i.e. you don't have to go through the day with a ghost-like pallor). It is gentle and fragrance-free. The container is a pump dispenser which limits exposure to the air and contamination. I highly recommend this formula. I don't see any reason to continue my search for the perfect sunscreen. I suspect that the waterproof formula from "elta mD" would be of comparable quality if this is a desired feature.

Great facial sunscreen
This is the best sunscreen I've ever used- I'm 55 yrs old, fair Irish type and I have rather blotchy red skin. This sunscreen is soothing on my skin and it's slightly moisturizing- just great, highly recommend. My dermatologist suggested it which is how I found it.

A very protective lotion with sunscreen
My dermatologist recommended this lotion with sunscreen for my face. One of the ingredients is zinc oxide which protects against sun damage. I also use Elta MD body lotion with sunscreen when I am out and about on a sunny day.
