UV protection w/ a light tint
I love that this sunscreen is free of fragrances & parabens, is made for us sensitive skin types & has both physical sunscreen ingredients - zinc oxide & titanium dioxide for strong UV protecion. Since it's oil free, if you have drier skin you'll need to moisturize before applying. The tint could be a bit darker or they could provide 2 or 3 tints. It made me look a bit pale so I needed to apply blush & bronzer to look healthy.

great sunscreen
I've been using the Elta MD line for five years. My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen line after I had skin cancer. This is the first time I tried Physical SPF 41. Like all the Elta products, it gives great coverage as a sunscreen. The reason I tried this product is because it has a tint. Living in AZ and being outdoors all the time, I like that I have the protection but don't have to wear a foundation all the time since it is tinted. I've not bought ANY other sunscreen product since finding Elta and really like the Physical lotion now.

I love this product! I am in my mid fifties, have very fair and sensitive skin that tends to look blotchy and red. I need strong protection, but hate looking pasty white. Most tinted sunscreens look ridiculously dark or orange on me. This tinted sunscreen gives me a healthy golden glow and goes on easily, stays on for a long time. Effective Sunscreen
This product was recommended to me by my dermatologist as sun protection after laser treatments. I have used it for over six months and feel it is fairly effective. The brown spots are not noticeably darkened after sun exposure. It is not irritating at all. I also like the fact that it is a physical block so I don't have to wait 30 minutes before I can go out. This is the product I intend to use for a long time. The reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is that it takes some time to absorb into the skin, and also it leaves quite a bit of stains on the clothes but the stains can be washed off without too much trouble.

This is the second tube of Elta MD UV Physical SPF 41 that I have purchased. Excellent sunscreen by Elta MD
This is a lovely product for those of us that need to wear all physical sunblocks. I like the tint because it prevents the white caste which other zinc oxide sunscreens seem to have. Best of all I haven't had any problems with breakouts in areas of my face were I tend to break out.
