a little drying, some white cast.
I thought this would be good bc it is tinted, but the tint disappears kinda, and you're left looking a little ghostly, and I already am pale so, dont need to look paler. also found it kinda drying. it's worth a try, just dont expect much of a tint.

Allergic reaction
I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and I had a reaction to this sunblock after using it for a few times. Before I had the reaction I did like that the tint was extremely sheer and the finish was very matte.

HG SUNSCREEN
Found the sunscreen I will use until I die (unless this gets continued). The tint is perfect, evens out my skin tone and some redness. Out of all the physical sunscreens I have tried, ranging from Neutrogena to Clinique, this is by far the best. Previously, I was using another physical sunscreen that was $30 for 20 oz. Elta Md is a much better value: 3 oz for $31. I keep a back up of this, one for my gym bag or purse, and one in my vanity.

Love it, my new favorite!
This is THE best moisturizer with sunscreen I've tried! I've used it about 3 weeks so far. I have medium/dark olive skin. I'd compare it to Jennifer Lopez, to pick a well known person. I have a tendency to be oily and have occasional breakouts. I'm 41. My qualifications for a good facial moisturizer with sunscreen: 1) Match my skin tone. When smoothing this sunscreen on, it looks like it's going to be too light. But it matches up in about 5 minutes, so don't stress, give it a minute! But I do look a little ghostly the first minute or two. 2) Not feel heavy, like I'm wearing sunscreen. Ugh, I HATE that feeling. OK, this feels HEAVENLY, like I'm wearing nothing at all but my skin feels moisturized. 3) Not break me out. No new breakouts! Yay! 4) Not feel like an oil slick is on my face. I have a tendency for oily skin. This leaves a matte, touchable (but not too dry) finish. Another thing, for all you retinol or retinA users, this product doesn't sting or burn. You should try to use a physical (mineral) sunscreen when using retinA or retinol creams. I was using a moisturizer with chemical sunscreen prior to this for about 3 weeks with RetinA, and it burned every time I applied, for about 5 minutes. Also, compared to some other mineral facial sunscreens, I like it for the size (you get 3 oz instead of 2 or 1.7!) and the price is pretty affordable when you account for how much you get. One thing I have noticed, however, is about 10 minutes after applying, I notice a faint sunscreen smell. Then it goes away a few minutes later. There's no scent on initial application. It would probably annoy me if it lasted longer, but it doesn't. So, that's my honest review.
