Great sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm really sensitive to chemical sunscreens, so I'm always looking for good physical sunscreens. I loved this one! It's very lightweight, blends in easily, and leaves no white cast. I personally don't find it to be too drying, but I do put moisturizer on directly before applying it. So far I haven't experienced any breakouts. I think this sunscreen is perfect for everyday use.

Great Everyday Facial Sunscreen

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have acne prone skin and have had difficulties finding a facial sunscreen that doesn†t feel greasy and break me out. This one does neither! Love the light tint, which prevents the white cast that zinc sunscreens usually leave on the skin.

I've been using this as my last step in my am skin care routine and love it . The tint is so light and dries out matte . Gives me protection and light coverage for the days I don't wear make up

the best physical sunblock

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

this is probably the only sunblock that won't break anyone out. It has a whipped mousse texture. They are super gentle and non-reactive (meaning it will not irritate your skin). they are tinted which will help you to tone down the redness i have. but even with the tint, it gives me a very pale finish. It does look better as the day goes on. I use face oil (as opposed to a cream moisturizer) so this oil free formula goes very very well with my face oil.

Great sunscreen for sensitive skin

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have sensitive skin, and I've tried countless high-end facial sunscreens. Elta MD UV Physical is, by far, my favorite, and I have been using this product exclusively since my dermatologist recommended it five years ago. Since I live in sunny Texas, I always apply this sunscreen after moisturizer, and I have experienced NO irritation like I do with chemical sunscreens. Because it's tinted, it doesn't leave a white residue, and I can get away with wearing this without foundation for a natural, everyday look. I typically use one tube every three months. If I could change anything about this sunscreen, I'd ask Elta MD to make a moisturizing version. But, overall, this is a wonderful product for my needs.

Great SPF

Love this SPF. Have been using for years. I like the tint to the sunscreen bc it creates and even tone that hides my skin's natural redness. Not oily or matte it has a natural finish.

Not HG but good!

I'm trying to find my perfect "physical" sunscreen, because something in the "chemical" sunscreens tends to make my eyes sting unbearably. I had been using the Sunprise, which I love, but I was worried the high alcohol content would get too drying for the winter (I'm in the US Midwest)-I was also trying to find something unscented, which this is. I was worried about the tint in this one - and it looks horrible coming out of the tube - but it's actually just enough to counter the whitecast so often found with physical sunscreens. For my fairly pale skin it's just right for a light, "BB" type coverage, and doesn't cling to dry patches. I prefer not to wear foundation all the time, but when I do it seems to work fine as a primer. My only caveat is it's slightly slippery feeling, especially on the bridge of my nose under my glasses. I think it's from the dimethicone; luckily it doesn't break me out, but if you are sensitive to "cones," be aware. I will try setting with powder when the weather gets above freezing again, and see if it stays put better. I haven't been in the sun much, so can't verify the sun protection aspect. TLDR: slips a bit, but doesn't irritate my skin or eyes.
