Finally! A sunscreen that works for me!
My search for a facial sunscreen that I can actually wear has ended! I had given up my search because every sunscreen I tried either irritated my eyes so badly (to the point that I was misdiagnosed with dry eye!) or just did not work under my foundation. EltaMD UV Physical Broad Spectrum SPF 41 Sunscreen is both gentle near my eyes and works amazingly well under both cream and liquid foundation. I love the fact that this sunscreen is slightly tinted too. Highly recommend and will definitely repurchase! If you are like me and have experienced sensitivity to facial sunscreens, check the ingredients. It could be the chemicals.

Too dark/yellow for very fair skin
I have to mix this 50/50 with Elta's UV Physical spf 47 to make it match my skin tone. People who say "a little goes a long way" are using sunscreen wrong, as you need at least a teaspoon of product just for your face and neck. When the proper amount of product is applied, the subsequent tint is just too dark/yellow for me. Other than that, I'm pretty much in love.

My Favorite Sunscreen
This sunscreen is my favorite for many reasons: the tinted color blends well with most skin tones, the coverage evens out color variations in the skin, the consistency is smooth & creamy without being heavy, and its long lasting plus effective. I have tried other sunscreens but always come back to Elta MD. Nothing compares! I don't even wear foundation anymore-Elta MD UV Physical is all I need.

Favorite sunscreen
I've been using EltaMD for years and love the sunscreen Spectrum SPF 41. First of all it is not heavy. I don't like thick sunscreen on my face. I love the tint in the product. If I choose not to put foundation over it at least I have some coverage. Best of all it really seems to protect my skin.

this product provides great protection and doesn't have any negative side effects that come with that - no breakouts, oily skin, burning eyes, etc. It's slightly chalky when first applied but blends in nicely within a minute or so.

Non-sticky, light-weight and does not irritate the eyes
My doctor recommended this sunscreen for me because of my sensitive skin. My eyes are especially sensitive. Amazingly, I am able to use this sunscreen around my eyes and on my eyelids without any irritation to my eyes. It is the best sunscreen ever! It is not sticky or greasy like other sunscreens. I do have to use a light-weight moisturizer before I apply the sunscreen.

Perfect daily sunscreen
My dermatologist recommended this sunscreen for daily use to help protect me from sun damage and skin aging. I was hesitant to wear sunscreen every day because I don't like how it feels on my skin. This product, however, is amazing. It evens out your skin tone without looking like you put on self-tanner, and it is very light feeling and moisturizing. I absolutely love it. Side note: I got a sample of COTZ facial sunscreen in my order. I tried it for 1 day and it totally dried out my skin. It feels terrible. Elta is far superior.

I was recently diagnosed with a sunscreen allergy (among several other skin allergies). This product is one of the only on the market I can use. Pros: tint color, good coverage, goes on easily, good texture. Cons: if you have dry, sensitive skin like mine, you MUST use a heavy moisturizer underneath. This product can be pretty drying on my skin. At first I tried the Elta PM Therapy underneath, but that was not moisturizing enough and left my skin feeling very dry. Vanicream worked much better.
