Good natural shade for me
I read that this product is too yellow for people with fair skin and didn't purchase it for awhile because of this but they were wrong. This is significantly lighter than the LaRoche, which I also own and don't like so much. I def like the shade and texture of this product better and will purchase it again. It's hard to find sunblock protection that is not white but is still water resistant for exercise. I put a light layer of lotion on before applying this and after this product dries, it is even more natural looking. For those that the color shade does not match well, just remember that a light coat of any sun protection product does not protect you from the sun's rays properly.

The absolute best sunscreen!
I purchased this on the recommendation of my gynecologist (who has absolutely gorgeous skin), and after a week of using it I could no longer imagine my face without this sunscreen. I have been using it for more than two months now and it continues to be fantastic. I cannot tolerate chemical sunscreens (like oxybenzone, avobenzone) because they make my eyes water and itch, and I was searching for something with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide that is not greasy, would not make my face look pasty white and shiny, would protect my very fair skin - the Elta MD UV Physical is perfect on every front! It is smooth and matte, does not make my face shine even at the end of a long day, hides imperfections and evens out my skin tone, does not make me break out (and this is a huge deal since I have very sensitive skin and still struggle with acne in my late 30s), has essentially eliminated the need to wear foundation. The amazing thing about this sunscreen is that while it is tinted and perfectly evens out my very very fair skin, it somehow magically also works on my light-brown-skinned children without giving their skin a strange hue. It really is absolutely amazing.

Excellent product for daily use
I was using a pricey tinted moisturizer with SPF 20 mineral content, but I don't need moisturizer in the summer - was feeling oily. So I bought this tinted Elta MD and the Anthelios 50 Tinted Mineral sunscreen by LaRoche-Posay. They both got good reviews and seemed similar, but the LaRoche cost twice as much per ounce. The texture is different - Elta MD is a tiny bit thicker - but they both glide on easily and have scarcely any color to them unless you cake it on. Just perfect for fair skin like mine. They both work well and protect my skin really well. So, for the price, I'll re-order the Elta MD when I finish both products. I still use a little Revlon ColorStay shine control pressed powder (in the summer) and I'm all set.
