EltaMD UV Pure Broad-Spectrum SPF 47 shields the skin from UVA and UVB damage during sun exposure. The gentle formula is quickly absorbed by the skin without leaving an oily residue and is water resistant for up to 80 minutes. Safe for sensitive skin conditions, including rosacea.

Great for exercising and/or humid days
The cheapest and also the best rated of the Elta MD line on ewg.org (rated on safety and environmental impact). I'm an aggressive sunscreen-user, and my liberal use of the UV Clear line was getting too expensive. UV Pure feels a bit chalkier, and it definitely leaves a more noticeable white cast on my skin. I use it when I exercise outdoors or go to the beach, it holds up super well in humidity, and I'm pale enough that it's also fine to use on my neck, even though I prefer UV Clear for my face. Overall, a great addition to my routine!

One of the better body sunscreens
Am a fan of this Elta Md sunscreen. Love that it does not contain Avobenzene. However, I am rating 4 stars because I have pretty sensitive skin, especially my hands (hand dermatitis), and find that I have to moisturize my palms right after applying or else my palms will become dry during colder/dry temperatures.

i appreciate the lack of fragrance and sensitizing agents but the white cast is more apparent than the uv clear which i tried first and love and this one is waterproof but definitely more drying. its great for camping though and i layer it wit another spf and its fine

Great Product - better than expected.
I really like this product, i use it on my face, neck and decolletage only. it's great for everyday wear and rubs nicely into the skin so that it doesn't leave a white tint, i have medium brown Indian skin. it's sweat proof, especially on the forehead and upper lip which i find very useful as i live in Southern California. Definitely waterproof, but like any physical sun cream (though this one can be rubbed in) it sits on top so you have to make sure you reapply when your in the sun. It does what it says it will do and i love the fact that it's non comedogenic so i can wear it under makeup.

Would give 4.5 stars
I used this product daily during the month of June...it's one of the best sunscreens I've ever used. I have sensitive skin and it didn't make me breakout. Also, the sunscreen mixed very nicely with the other products I use in the morning (a Vit C serum and a hydrating serum). I'm trying another moisturizing sunscreen right now but I like will most likely return to this product.

I never get sun burned.
This works very well for my sensitive skin, probably because it is chemical free. The SPF is very high and it being water-resistant is fantastic for when I go swimming or running. I'm also happy it is for my body AND face because I hate having to put on two sunscreens. The texture and quality is great and it never dries out my already dry skin.

A little white
This is probably one of my favorite sunscreens of all time, but it makes me look a little pasty. I like to mix in a few drops of Elta's tinted spf 41 to remedy this.
