Dispense one pump of product and divide evenly between both under-eye areas. Apply three small dots per eye — under the eye, outer corner and brow bone. Using the cooling applicator tip, glide outward beneath the eyes and below the brows until absorbed. Gently tap any excess product using your ring finger. Apply more if needed.

I use Retinol. Can I still use these products?

It’s best to avoid combining retinol with vitamin C as there is a risk of skin irritation and redness, especially for those with sensitive skin. If you do want to use them together, you can start by using only one ingredient for a full skin cell turnover (four weeks) and be sure to look after the skin barrier with rich moisturizing ingredients like our Kombucha Microbiome Collection, our Ceramide Repair Balm or our Camellia Glow Solid Face Oil. What makes the vitamin C in these products non-irritating?

Due to 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid’s dual (oil and water) solubility, it doesn't need to be formulated at as low of a pH range as Ascorbic Acid to penetrate the skin or to be as effective. Being formulated in a less acidic pH range makes it less likely to cause irritation; 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is also regarded as being less likely to cause irritation in general.

What is the percentage of vitamin C in these products?

The Vitamin C+ Serum has 10% 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, and the Vitamin C+ Eye Cream has 3% 3-OEthyl Ascorbic Acid.
