LOVE the Active Serum
This serum is great for acne prone skin. I get the occasional pimple and this serum is something I apply when I have any acne or bumps on my face. It gives you a nice little sting when you put it on your skin- almost like menthol or rubbing alcohol. Which as a former noxzema teen user I love. It does has a strong scent, but it doesn't bother me because the scent doesn't last long once you place on your skin and add moisturizer. It doesn't dry out my dry skin and is just an all around awesome product. I highly recommend as a tool in your skincare arsenal.

I never write reviews. Like ever. But Active Serum is AMAZING. I have always had acne-prone skin and last year started getting monthly facials to help with acne, melasma, dark spots, scarring, etc. The esthetician introduced me to IS Clinical and I started using the cleanser and Pro Heal. Cleanser is great and I liked Pro Heal but my skin was still breaking out. Spending $300 on a facial and buying these products, I expected better results. I stopped using Pro Heal and after reading reviews for Active Serum, I decided to give it a try. Ummm it's incredible! Believe the reviews. I have dry, sensitive skin and I can't believe the results I've gotten in only a few months of consistent use. My skin is smooth, zero acne (even while wearing a mask and being prone to chin/jawline breakouts), my melasma had faded so much and my pores are much smaller. Like... I went out without makeup for the first time in years and wasn't self-conscious whatsoever. Incredibly freeing. And I haven't felt the need to get a facial since December. My routine - Morning: For the first 8 weeks or so I washed my face (only warm water) in the morning and applied a dropper full of active serum (forehead, cheeks, neck, chin), used IS Clinical Moisturizing Complex and sunscreen. Evening: Wash face with cream cleanser, apply Active Serum again and Moisturizing Complex Now I have the same routine but only using Active Serum at night (trying to save some money) and I still use Moisturizing Complex/Sunscreen. I also tried the Copper Mist and spray it on if my skin feels dry. Seriously obsessed with IS Clinical.

I have been using IS Clinical products since my friend told me about them. This serum has helped with my melasma and overall appearance of my complexion. I can now go without makeup without feel self conscious of my hyperpigmentation. I even was able to give up using my Retin A.

My must have over all other serums
For those with Northern European ancestry(thin skin, freckles and sunburns easily, uneven pigmentation, dark pores, occasional breakouts) like me, this was God-sent. I never thought I would find something to address some of my daily skin struggles, and so effectively. Being a gay guy, wearing makeup is just plain weird to some people still, so we really have to work on our skin IMO. Also for men who struggle with having nice skin after shaving - this changed my life, I never struggle with shaving my face, or having a little stubble grow. My Facial hair even grows more beautifully! Not for my skin type imo
Maybe this is better for acne prone skin caused by oiliness. I have skin on the dry side, that breaks out based on what I use on my face or what I eat. This has alcohol in it and menthol to create that fake it's working tingly feeling, which neither is good for reactive skin. I think this one is a return.
