Hydra-Cool Serum contains the powerful, healing antioxidant centella asiatica with vitamin B5, hyaluronic acid, kojic acid and soothing menthol. It works to hydrate and nourish the skin while providing intense protection through antioxidants. Ideal for all ages and all skin types, including sensitive, just-sunburned skin.
Apply sparingly to clean skin, smoothing over face and neck (or as directed). Serum may be used by itself or layered with other iS Clinical products. For best results, follow complete iS Clinical regimen.

irritating
Im a pharmaceutical scientist and I wonder why they have included "menthol" in this serum that is suppose to be hydrating and calming. Menthol is an absolutely unnecessary and irritating ingredient that degenerates collagen. I found this serum hydrating but it left my skin red and irritated, specially when my skin was exposed to sun.

Hydra-Cool after using Active Serum, and if the latter is strongly burning, uses just over the top - it instantly removes the discomfort of the active serum, but at the same time reducing its effectiveness (I thought).

good hydrator for acne-prone skiin
As part of an iS Clinical program of the cleansing complex and the active serum in the evening, the hydra cool serum is a refreshing, sheer hydrator for daytime use that will not aggravate acne. If you have dry skin, as I do, however, it will likely not provide enough moisture on its own, and should then be coupled with another moisturizer on top.
