Jane Iredale Smooth Affair for eyes
I have always wanted to try Jane Airedale's products and Dermastore gave me that opportunity. I have trouble with eye shadow staying put, by the end of the day it's gone. I also have very sheer eyelids and this amazing product is helping with both! And I love that it is from natural products.

Very effective primer for eyes
I purchased this while looking for a new primer that would hydrate and help eye shadow stay in place. This did not disappoint! I purchased the color Petal as it complimented my skin tone. This primer can be worn alone or under eye shadow, which is a plus for options. Applies easily and really enhances the shade and wear of eye make up. I definitely recommend this primer!

Naked: A wash of shimmer with no chunky glitter
Smooth Affair cream shadows have a creamy soft texture that apply easily with fingers or a flat brush. Naked swatches as a highlighter with a subtle pink tinge on me but appears on the lid as a beautiful wash of shimmer with no glittery chunks. On my mature skin, it works well as a brow highlighter or inner eye pop of shimmer. I would recommend the color 'Canvas' if you are looking for a more natural light-medium skin tone (also shimmery). Description on the product pot itself says it's an eye shadow/primer.

Light and Fine as a Feather
This is a first time recent purchase for me. I am 48 yo, with gray/blonde hair and blue eyes, and light to tan skin. I rarely wear eye shadow, but love to have a light swoosh of primer or neutral color on my eye lids. This product does the trick. It's a nice base for eye shadow, helping it to stay put longer. OR it provides a barely there pink highlight that hydrates and brightens eyes. I will try the other colors soon.

Caused makeup crease
Weirdly this did the exact opposite I wanted it to, my eye makeup was creased before the end of the day. It's just too creamy and moves around a lot I guess. It also wasn't particularly colored? Definitely didn't add anything or create a blank canvas. Love the brand, but this one went back.
