This exfoliating formula first sloughs off dead skin to refine skin's texture. Then leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes, as it infuses skin with botanical oils and vitamin C. I actually really enjoyed the potency of this mask, made it worth the cost. The texture is weird, but you just have to mix it well before using it. I recommend not leaving it on for more than 10 mns and make sure you really wash it off well. It is really tingly. I accidentally didn't wash it off well, and my skin became rough/dry prolonging the healing process but after 3 days my skin looked brand new! Definitely does exfoliate!!

hard to remove
This is the strangest scrub I have ever purchased. It was so hard when I opened the jar that I thought it might be defective. Hard to apply evenly - and impossible to fully remove. Even using cleanser afterward, it still felt as though i had smeared butter on my face. Afraid to use my clarisonic to remove the residue because I will have to through away the brush head. Will never buy again - and would like to return this one.

Need a power washer to take off!
I read some reviews that said it's very oily when you take it off...figures no big deal, I'll wash it off better....WOW IS THIS OILY!!! I washed even with soap and it was so so difficult to remover allllll the little particles off my face and anywhere near hairline. This product was great to put on, like a weird flinely gritty butter, nice exfoliation, nice slight tingle...taking it off is a nightmare. Will use up, but will definitely not repurchase.

I like the dual approach of this very thorough mask. I'm typically not a fan of scrubs, but this is about as gentle as they come. The balm like texture is nice, and I didn't feel like it pulled or scrubbed too harshly at all as I massaged it in. Very light tingling, nothing major (my skin is accustomed to glycolics). Washes off nicely- my skin feels very soft and looks bright. I'd give it 5 stars if were a teensy bit cheaper. Smells really good, like oranges.
