Obagi Professional-C Serum 15% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

I have only been using the OBAGI Professional -C serium for a couple weeks. I use to use a Skin Ceuticals Serum and thought I would try something else. In general, my skin tolerates the serum, except on neck skin under my chin. That area got red and itchy. After a few days not using it , skin recovered.

After using this consistently for 6 months, the hyper-pigmentation that I couldn’t get rid of finally went away. I was amazed. It’s pricey, but worth it and it lasts a long time. It did cause some dryness at first, but went away once my skin got used to it. A tip from my doc was to make sure your skin is completely dry after washing before putting it on (ie wait like 10-15mins) if you experience any irritation.
