Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

Jury is still out on effectiveness of this product, I've always used the much more expensive version/brand of this type of product. One thing I'm not happy with, is the cap manages to loosen over the course of a day, even though I tighten it after my daily, morning use. I can't be sure this allows air to creep into the vial and deprecate the product, but it is concerning that the product looses effectiveness. Doesn't seem like rocket science to create a lid that stays tightened.

Most effective vitamin C serum
I have tried most vitamin C serums, including cheaper ones by other popular makeup stores and other expensive ones in this same price range. I love that this one is not gritty and glides on. I also love that it is not a sticky cream or mixed with any kind of moisturizer. It has no detectable scent. As my skin ages, it can tolerate less ingredients and I don't love heavily scented creams and serums - I simply want quality ingredients that work. I have upped from the 15% and it has worked wonders on my once heavily freckled fair complexion. I have purchased this 3 times so far and will likely continue to purchase as I have found no substitute.
