Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

Bad seal on lid but good product otherwise
I'd been using this for almost 3 weeks and didn't really see a difference. I figured I either needed more time to see results or needed something more potent since I've been using vit c for years. The smell was fine and the texture is a bit more oily than I expected, but I could've dealt with that. The main issue was that the bottle seemed to be defective and didn't close properly; when I twisted the cap on tight the dropper extended, causing a gap for air to get in and quick oxidation. I'm not sure if this is the reason why I didn't see stellar results but either way thanks to Dermstore's excellent customer service I still have faith in the brand and am excited to try another Obagi product in the future. I put in a return request in within 30 days of receiving and they refunded me in full. Thanks Dermstore!

Definite Difference!
I've been using this product for about a month and a half and I've definitely noticed a significant difference in the dark spots and hyperpigmentation (including reduction in freckle darkness). I still have some problem areas though. I'm upgrading to the 15% serum because I don't think this product was strong enough for my skin. So, the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it may not be strong enough for some. I say less is more when you're starting out, but if you've used brightening serums before without any trouble than I'd go with a higher %.
