Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% infuses your skin with L-ascorbic acid, the only form of vitamin C suitable for topical application. Designed to penetrate deep into your skin, this vitamin C serum provides effective antioxidant protection from UV damage as it brightens away hyperpigmentation and encourages the growth of collagen and elastin fibers. Hyaluronic acid binds moisture to your skin to prevent dryness.
Apply 5 to 7 drops of Obagi Professional-C Serum to the face, neck and chest using fingertips. Apply to cleansed skin in the morning before sunscreen and makeup application. A slight tingling may occur in some people, which diminishes with continued use.

Wonderful New Addition to my Skincare Routine
I have tried a number of vitamin C serums in the past few years, but the Obagi Professional-C Serum 20% is the best so far. I can see a noticeable difference in my skin tone and texture, a skin disappearance of acne scars and fine lines and wrinkles. I dont expect a serum like this to work overnight, so I am happy with the results. My first bottle has lasted me 3 months using at least once per morning and sometimes at night.

Effective but not the best
I have used two vit c serums - obagi and skinceuticals ce ferulic. Obagi does the job but I noticed a few negatives while using this. The scent smells like cheap hairspray. I understand we are trying to mask the weird vitamin c smell but it is still there. Covering it up just makes it worse in my opinion. Also, the formula is super thin and absorbs so fast that I feel like much of the serum is absorbing in to my fingertips before I can even apply it to my face. I try to go really fast when applying it but have been unable to spread it across my whole face and neck without feeling like I have lost some and I'm using 7 drops! This is double the amount I would use with Skinceuticals CE Ferulic - SC seems to have a more viscous formula that enables better spreading and coverage with less product. One other thing - I do think this product has turned faster than it should, becoming unstable and potentially ineffective only 1/4 of the way through the bottle. It already smells old and the color is too dark. I would spend a little extra and buy the other brand.
