This is my second time using Obagi's .1% retinol cream. It is strong and within a few days after beginning to use, my skin gets tight and feels itchy...then begins to flake off a few days after that. I noticed the regeneration of skin after about a month to 6 weeks later. My skin looked and felt more youthful, fresh and firmer, which reduced the look of wrinkles. I have not used in a few years, so i am hoping for the same result, since my skin seems to have hit the next level of ageing where it seems to appear more creapy and has less elasticity.

Good, but not my favorite
A good product, but I prefer the consistency and texture of other brands. Perhaps it is just because I have used a particular 1.0 retinol for a long time, but this one didn’t quite live up to my regular brand. It was a sample size, so I can’t speak to the long term effective ness versus other brands, but I’ll keep it for my travel kit, so I can leave my big tube at home!

Perfect size to sample
You only need a peas size amount. Since I am already a retinol user, I used up this sample almost every night. It has Shea butter in the formula, so it was gentle on the skin, and I did not experience dryness or irritation. I did use a moisturizer over it.

You don’t need to use a lot, just a pea size amount of this retinol cream. I already use retinol, so I used this almost every night, with zero irritation or redness. This formula has Shea butter in it, so it is gentle on the skin. I do use a moisturizer over it.
