Love this oil

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

this is really great, it is light and does not weight down my hair. I have very fine hair and its hard to find an oil that doesn't weight it down.

Good hair oil but expensive

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have been using Kerastase hair oil for years and I really like it. I occasionally get bored and want to try new products. I definitely like this hair oil, and it does the job but it is quite a bit more expensive than Kerastase and other hair oils and I do not notice any significant improvements in this hair oil from others. The smell is somewhat strange to me, not necessarily bad, but not amazing, but the smell goes away quickly. I would recommend it but for the price I might consider looking for other options.

Great on 2nd+ day hair

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love to use this oil on 2nd day hair. I use dry shampoo at the roots and this oil at the mid/ends. It adds a some shine and makes it super soft. Best is it doesn't weight my hair down, a major plus, but I feel this depends on hair thickness. Highly recommend trying a travel size before committing.

Great Product, Dinky Packaging

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

I originally bought this oil because I wasn't impressed with a more famous 'elixir' from another company, and needed to repair my hair. I think Oribe is one of the best luxury hair care brands on the market today. This oil is very, very light and sheer, but it leaves your hair soft with that beautiful signature Oribe scent. My hair is thick and dry, and sometimes creams don't always feel good in my hair or they don't always penetrate well, so I prefer oils to condition and smooth. However, my biggest issue with Oribe is their cheap packaging. I'm not just saying this to be negative by the way...it's painfully obvious. I noticed a lot of their products come in these thin, kind of cheap plastic containers and the pump on the oil feels very light when using. Their creams also come in tubes with hard to open, raggedy lids and this is extremely odd to me as they charge premium prices but then put their stuff in drugstore quality containers? Honestly I was expecting my oil to come in either a heavier, more sturdy acrylic or even glass but no...it comes in this super light/thin plastic pump. I hope they change this in the future.

Had High Hopes

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've been using this for a few weeks and honestly don't understand all the glowing reviews. It's just OK. I've had better results with an argan oil spray from the drugstore. Maybe it's my hair which is fine, frizzy and curly, My opinion is that it's way overpriced for the results it achieves.

Super nourishing

This is an essential for any beach or desert getaway! Knew my hair would be dry as straw during coachella weekend, but this made my hair shiny, moisturized and healthy! 5 stars

love how it feels and smells

Use sparingly. Short hair will only need one quick pump, long hair two pumps. It has transformed my hair! The smell is amazing!

Highly recommend!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

Love, love, love this hair oil. Yes, it's expensive, but it's worth a try. Plus a pump is all you need if you have thick, shoulder-length hair. It definitely reduced my frizz and made my hair just overall more manageable. The way I use it is to apply it all over my mid-shaft/ends on towel-dried hair. Also, it adds a lovely shine that just glows in the light.

Better than Morrican hair oil

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I had been using Morrican hair oil for a while and not achieving good results. Tried Oribe based on multiple recommendations from a variety of sources. I really like it, hair feels great. I particularly love the scent. Sweet and floral without being too flowery.

An absolute must have...

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've tried them all and spent a pretty penny - nothing comes close to delivering the way this oil does. My color treated hair has been through the wringer. This oil is my saving grace! If the price is scaring you away I get it, but I don't regret having splurged a little; the smaller bottle has lasted me well over a year and the results are amazing. I ordered up the full size - refuse to be without!
