Harsh with poor texture
This product has a greasy feeling on the skin and does not feel like it absorbs. I have used other chemical exfoliants and not experienced such a reaction as I did with this. Even with taking precautions and using a small amount, this product felt horrible on my skin and totally sensitized me, made my face read, and seemed to make breakouts worse. I could barely use any of my bottle.

Effective!!
I had read all the reviews about this product being amazing! However, I was skeptical - a lot of times when I buy things with rave reviews they aren't all they're cracked up to be. At first when I started using it I didn't notice any change at all and I was super upset. I figured it was just another failed product. After using it for about a month I started noticing my pores seemed to be smaller and my skin was much more smooth. I do recommend giving this product to try, but make sure you give it time to work.

Excellent Toner
I tried this exfoliant after a breakout (I'm 50). I had tried a new skincare product that had coconut oil in it and it made me breakout. I put a few drops of this toner in the palm of my hand, targeted where the breakouts were, and in about a week, they were gone. This is probably PC's best known product, and for good reason. It targets areas of breakout/concern, but does so with additional healing/calming ingredients as well as SA. This is a stellar product and I'll buy this one for life when I'm silly enough to let makeup artists try some pore clogging skincare on my skin. This is a product for all ages and all skin types (I have rosacea). There is no scent to this product, and the texture is watery. I recommend patting this into troubled areas, or using a cotton round to spread evenly throughout the face/neck/chest.

I prefer the liquid to the gel, fyi. I have tried both and this liquid exfoliant is the answer to my perennially-clogged pores. It's my fourth or fifth purchase at this point. New to Exfoliant
What caught my eye when reading about Exfoliant is that Rosacea is one of the things it is good for. I was told I had rosacea years ago, but have not been bothered much by it. Lately though, it seems my skin has more of an orange peel texture and a few little red lines are showing up. I use Exfoliant after washing my face and it feels like it is lubricating my skin. I didn't expect it to feel this good. Since I have only had it a few weeks, it is too early to tell what the outcome will be, but so far, I like it a lot.
