This gentle leaveon exfoliant works within the pore lining to prevent congestion & blemishes. 2% BHA is clinically proven to visibly reduce pores, control oil & support skin's barrier. Exfoliation helps the rest of your routine absorb better and work harder for a glowing, makeupready complexion.

Great gentle exfoliant
This is great exfoliant for daily use. I've incorporated this into my morning routine and I see that my skin is more glowy, my pores are smaller, and I don't break out as much. I highly recommend this if you're looking for an exfoliant to add to your routine.

the product itself works well on keeping pores clear. however, it's not a joy to use - the smell is unpleasant and it has an oily, slippery feel, leaving a sheen. i use it at night, never during the day. i personally dislike the packaging - a pump would be better than the small hole in my opinion. would still recommend this bha as it does what it claims without unnecessary ingredients.

Better than Expected!
I was a little skeptical about this product despite the rave reviews. I had never used a chemical exfoliate before and I have sensitive skin. So I was scared it would overwhelm me! But I can already tell a difference in my skin's texture. Its great!

Amazing for my dry skin
Skin type is dry, sometimes acne prone. I've bought so many bottles of this, I've lost count. When I first started using this product, I went through "purging" as the gunk in my pores came to surface. After that brief purging, i haven't had acne ever since. It's a very gentle exfoliant, no stinging , no irritation. A little goes a long way...if you look "shiny" you used too much. I highly recommend.

Gentle but texture leaves something to be desired
This is a truly gentle exfoliant, though the 2% concentration of salicylic acid will dry out some skins even without the presence of irritants. But the texture of this product, like so many Paula's Choice products, is not at all elegant, leaving a greasy film on the face. Just doesn't stand up to truly premium brands like Obagi and Skinmedica in terms of texture and finish.

finally, clear skin!
I'm on my second bottle of Paula's Choice 2% and I can truly say this product has changed my skin. I have been slowly developing what works on my skin and this product really elevated my routine. I only use it at night because it leaves a bit of a film on my skin but I don't mind that for sleeping.
