This gentle leaveon exfoliant works within the pore lining to prevent congestion & blemishes. 2% BHA is clinically proven to visibly reduce pores, control oil & support skin's barrier. Exfoliation helps the rest of your routine absorb better and work harder for a glowing, makeupready complexion.

Better than Expected!
I was a little skeptical about this product despite the rave reviews. I had never used a chemical exfoliate before and I have sensitive skin. So I was scared it would overwhelm me! But I can already tell a difference in my skin's texture. Its great!

Amazing for my dry skin
Skin type is dry, sometimes acne prone. I've bought so many bottles of this, I've lost count. When I first started using this product, I went through "purging" as the gunk in my pores came to surface. After that brief purging, i haven't had acne ever since. It's a very gentle exfoliant, no stinging , no irritation. A little goes a long way...if you look "shiny" you used too much. I highly recommend.

Gentle but texture leaves something to be desired
This is a truly gentle exfoliant, though the 2% concentration of salicylic acid will dry out some skins even without the presence of irritants. But the texture of this product, like so many Paula's Choice products, is not at all elegant, leaving a greasy film on the face. Just doesn't stand up to truly premium brands like Obagi and Skinmedica in terms of texture and finish.

This product receives a lot of hype so I was a little cautious when trying this product. However, it deserves the hype. It keeps my skin clear and removes any dirt that I may have missed when washing my face or removing makeup. Also, the pores on my nose are noticeably smaller.

finally, clear skin!
I'm on my second bottle of Paula's Choice 2% and I can truly say this product has changed my skin. I have been slowly developing what works on my skin and this product really elevated my routine. I only use it at night because it leaves a bit of a film on my skin but I don't mind that for sleeping. My skin is now soft and smooth and sometimes when I catch myself in the mirror thinking there's no way that's me. Big ups to Paula, she's a godsend.

Really works promise
I suffered a lot from acne as a teenager which included blackheads. How I wish this product was available to me then. It would have saved me from picking which led to scars and capillary breaks later in life. Acne is long behind me, but not blackheads. I'm on my second bottle and have been using is most everyday for 9 months. My blackheads are gone for the first time in my life. I try not to spend time with mag mirrors as they really give a false sense of what the world sees, however when i do look - no blackheads.
