SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense is an advanced solution to help eliminate adult acne while addressing wrinkles, fine lines and uneven skin tone. A combination of 2% dioic acid with alpha and beta hydroxy acids prevent blemishes while diminishing hyperpigmentation and reducing wrinkles and fine lines. This targeted treatment also inhibits excess of sebum production, unclogs pores and helps prevent skin darkening from UV exposure.
Key Ingredients:
- 2% Dioic Acid: naturally derived from vegetables, this ingredient helps reduce excess sebum
- 0.3% LHA (Caproloyl Salicylic Acid): a lipo-hydroxy acid, LHA, evenly exfoliates skin, decongests pores, and refines the skin’s surface
- 1.5% Salicylic Acid: a beta-hydroxy acid refines pores and helps reduce the formation of acne

Great Acne Product!
I bought this product based on all the good reviews it had. I am a little bummed because the bottle I received did not come with a dropper so pouring it into the palm of my hand without trying to waste any of it is a little challenging. I use it every other day because I alternate it with benzoyl peroxide. My skin can get dry from acne products easily. It works well without irritating the skin.

For the past two weeks I have been using this every other morning. I have to say it has a tingle when you apply but it goes away pretty quickly. I think it made my skin purge a little. It's still a little soon to see any results though I imagine. The only thing I don't care for is that it leaves a filmy texture on my face. For reference I use this and an over counter retinol to help clear adult acne.

I bought this after reading reviews thinking this might be the holy grail of skin products for my occasional adult breakouts...alas...it is not. It stings/burns after application (overnight) and I can't say I notice any difference the next day. Breakouts are about the same and skin seems a tad more sensitive.

Trying to be at home with my body
This product makes up for those lazy nights I fall asleep without washing my face. It can help prevent that future breakout. I use it every other day and wouldn't recommend using it every day. It began drying my face when I was using it every day but adding this to my daily routine has helped maintain clearer skin. I'm not sure how much of an 'Age Defense' it is but I'm crossing my fingers on that part of the product's promise coming true.
