Okay, so first let me tell you about my passion for all Skinceuticals products. About two years ago, after my Dad died, I was depressed. I wasn't taking care of myself, and my skincare routine consisted of washing my face before bed, if that. I had no routine, no lotions, no serums - didn't even know these things existed. I lived like this for a very long time. When I started to feel my grief lessen a bit and was getting back into the flow of life, I became more aware of how much I had aged. The years without skin products had taken a serious toll. I became interested in the products my friends were using and began researching. I was blown away by how expensive skin care was and felt discouraged. My husband, who is a doctor, was helping me look at products one morning and with exasperation, I told him "forget all of this...it isn't worth it." He (being caring and knowing how much the aging over the years was negatively affecting me) took a look at the choices I had been looking at and pointed one out. It was Skinceuticals Triple Lipid Restore. He said, "You need to get one that will work, so go with this brand that is recommended by Dermatologists and has been tested scientifically." So I did and I've never looked back. Wow, did it ever change my skin! If my husband had not encouraged me to buy that product, I have no idea what or how my skin would look today, but I guarantee it wouldn't be how it looks now - which is a mind blowing ten to fifteen years younger. From that Skinceuticals product, I started branching out into trying other Skinceuticals products. All have had amazing results. However, if there is one product that takes the first place ribbon within the Skinceuticals top ten is this one. I received this serum as a sample from the Dermstore monthly box and after one use, just one, I was blown away. Not only did it brighten my skin (was observable from first use), it plumped and softened my wrinkles on my eyes, forehead, and upper lip area. After about a month my age spots started going away and today I have none. It was so noticeable that my husband commented on it. I am 55 years old, so not a young babe. This product is simply incredible - it, like all the Skinceuticals I've tried over the last two years, takes years off your face. The price is high, I'm not going to lie. However, if you think about the cost of Botox and injectables, it's significantly lower, and I have to tell you, the results are the same. I've had friends comment on my skin and ask who does my Botox and I am more than happy to share that I don't do Botox. My skin looks like it does from using Skinceutical products - especially this one. If my husband had not encouraged me two years ago to go with the Skinceuticals products, I probably would have at some point tried injectables that are way too expensive and only last three months. Using this product, as well as the other in this line, is a lasting result - it isn't a one time deal that has an expiration date - every time you use these products, it builds on the last one and so and so on. It is a cumulative and lasting. I can't encourage you more to try this line and especially this serum. It is literally liquid magic in a bottle. I am so pleased, especially with this serum. Thank you to my husband and a thank you to the specialists who made and patented all the Skinceuticals products.
