I don't get the hype
I've been using this for several weeks now, and I honestly don't understand the hype. As many reviewers have said, it smells exactly like hotdog water, and it's sticky by comparison to other brands I've used and like better. Sunday Riley's CEO vitamin C serum is still my all-time favorite, with Ursa Major's coming in at a close second. And, they're less than half the price.

my tips for the best vitamin c serum
if you're reading these reviews you likely already know this is an amazing product, so yes, buy it, and yes, it smells like hotdog water. with sensitive and fair skin, only a few drops are necessary for me, and i use every other day. it says once absorbed, it remains effective for 72 hours, so i have found that using every other day is sufficient and cost-effective, and hopefully has no negative impact. i made the mistake of using too much at first, and daily, and this caused my skin to freak out a bit. now that i've eased my skin back into it, i've noticed my skin looking so much better overall - clear, glowing, more even-toned.

Starting to love it
I bought this a few months ago. At first, it caused my face to break out and my neck to have an allergic reaction. I cut way back on using it - once a week for a few weeks, twice a week, every other day, etc. I’m using it 6 days a week now (taking Wednesdays off) and am starting to love it. After I finish the bottle I may switch to a different skinceuticals c serum, but I’m hoping the CE Ferulic will work out.
