I know this is so many people's holy grail product, and I really wanted to love it! Although it's not cheap, I was willing to pay the price if it was effective. Unfortunately, almost immediately after using I had a bad reaction to this product and developed folliculitis on my forehead. The only other time this has happened to me was with a different Skinceuticals product (the Blemish+Age Defense serum). I do have pretty sensitive skin and it definitely doesn't seem like this is the norm--but I was so disappointed to not be able to use this!

Used for 2 years
I have used this serum for two years now and I can tell a difference in overall brightness and evenness of my complexion. I had (prior to using this, glycolic acid serum, spf 50 and just recently a retinol, and moisturizer) combination skin: very dry and flaky, cystic/hormonal acne on my cheeks and chin, dull skin. Last year I got loose with my skin care regimen and was not religiously using my CE Ferulic and I could tell a difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I have yet again been using it and my deep cystic acne dissipated. I am 28, investing in good products is well worth it to me to be as preventative as possible. Using this with a retinol, spf 50 and moisturizer I can honestly say my skin has NEVER looked better, even when I started my skin care journey 4 years ago, my skin is brighter, plumper, and more clear now. I feel so confident, I do not wear makeup to hide any unevenness in skin tone and it is 100% because of CE ferulic and the other items. I will never stop using this. Please do not change the formula.

My favorite vitamin c serum.
This is pricey, but a little goes a long way. I use it every other day to stretch it out, because it is effective for 72 hours. It does not pill. It has faded my sunspots from over exposure to the sun, and prevented new spots from starting.

I'm not one to notice skincare when it works.. but I believe this product has helped my hyperpigmentation more than other serums I've used. Most other versions of this type of product have all changed color within weeks of use. This does not. I'm not sure if it means that it is more effective than those, but I will continue to buy as long as I can afford to buy them.
