Great product but expensive
I used this product for a couple of years. I liked it a lot. I initially tried the PHLORETIN CF product because I have sensitive, oily skin. This product is oilier, so I understand why my dermatologist suggested I start with the other product. But I think this one does a better job and is more effective, so I switched to it. It did make my skin a little oilier earlier in the day, but I didn't mind. I have an issue with the price. I don't want to spent $170 on a product when I can buy something similar for $20 elsewhere. This is the original and there's a lot of scientific research to back this particular product up. Other brands have recreated this product and it's up to you whether to trust their formulation or not. I also don't like that this brand is so rarely on sale and is excluded from sales on every site where it's sold. But the products this brand sells are excellent and produce good results. I only wish they were all a little more affordable.

Wanted to love it
Was so excited to try this from all the dermatology reviews I read! I'm 32 and have very oily acne prone hormonal skin and this product just didn't work for me. The texture was awful for my skin very sticky and shiny plus it caused me a lot of breakouts and intensified my oiliness. Maybe it's something I can go back to in 5 years when my skin isn't so all over the place hopefully! I will try the anti-aging blemish formula next

Healthy, glowing skin (not superficially so)
I purchased this as part of a set (along with the HA), and I've been using it for a week. I've used other vitamin C products in the past (Paula's choice, The Ordinary, etc.), and this one immediately stood out. It, along with the HA, provide a brightness that feels like it's actually effecting my skin in a healthy way, not in a superficial way. Difficult to describe, and I'm curious to see with prolonged use what I see, but so far I feel like I invested in my skin (and self care, which seems necessary to balance the chaos of #2020). Also, I will echo what others have said, that the scent at first is a bit like boiled hot dog water...which sounds awful, and I'm usually very sensitive to smells, but this one is oddly just fine and dissipates fairly quickly.

Best Vit C product I have found. It is expensive, but I have seen a major reduction in dark spots and overall my skin is much brighter. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any negative reaction or irritation. I also feel like it will last a while. I will repurchase.

Best Vitamin C Product
I have been using SkinCeuticals CE Feurlic for the last few years. I use it every morning before my daily moisturizer . My skin looks pretty great for an almost 57 year old. I also like the fact that it lasts up to 72 hours. So if you miss a day or two you are still protected. It is a little pricey, but it goes a long way with just a few drops at a time.
