Gold standard for a reason, but hard to get fresh
Vitamin C is one of the few proven treatments for addressing aging skin. it can hard to get a good quality formulation though because the vitamin C has to be in a form that doesn't degrade easily and penetrates well into the skin. This stuff is the gold standard on both counts IF you get it fresh. You can tell if it's fresh because it should be pretty much clear (as shown in the dropper in the photo) and definitely not bright yellow. My dermstore purchase wasn't bad, but had a little yellow tint already. I've gotten much worse (e.g. I've stopped buying it from blue mercury entirely because more often than not it was bright yellow). Hot tip: I store mine in the fridge and just decant a week's worth at a time into a smaller dropper bottle. This gives me longer to make it through the large bottle before it goes off.
