Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Great for hyperpigmentation
I like this a lot and it lasts FOREVER so you get your money's worth. I prefer the blemish & age SC bottle, but I will be finishing this out in its entirety.

Fav serum
I’ve been using this for a year now on and off. This serum is worth the buck! Whenever I have acne scars, I use this serum for 2-3 months and I saw results! I’ve tried so many hyperpigmentation serums and nothing works but this! I’ve searched for over 10 years and just now found something amazing! My fav so far.

So far so good
I have freckles and some new brown spots and noticed that they lightened a little within the first 2 weeks of use but I only used it during my nighttime skincare routine. It's pricey but works better than anything else I've tried.

Will continue to purchase
I was told to use this by a dermatologist as part of my regimen to help with melasma. I use a few drops morning and evening and I've been using it consistently for several months (in conjunction with some other treatments) and I do think it has made a difference. I plan to continue using this indefinitely in order to prevent the appearance of any future discoloration. Definitely recommend.
