Brighten and balance your skin tone with SkinCeuticals Discoloration Defense, a dark spot corrector that reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure, medical procedures or acne.
Formulated with 3% Tranexamic Acid, 1% Kojic Acid, 5% Niacinamide, and 5% HEPES, the treatment targets stubborn brown patches and post-inflammatory discolouration to even the skin tone and help to minimise the appearance of future marks with continued use. In as little as two weeks, the complexion will be unified, radiant and visibly healthier-looking.
Suitable for all skin types.
Free from parabens, silicones, fragrances, gluten and hydroquinone.
Due to the concentration of Kojic acid in this formula, a shift in color is expected. This could lead to a light brown or amber color, but the formula remains effective.
Twice daily, apply three to five drops to face. For morning use, apply after a SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and follow with a SkinCeuticals broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product. Do not use on irritated or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.

Works, need time
When I first started using this product I didn't see any results. It was two months later when the dark spots started to fade. The spots get lighter over time. If you stick with the regimen and use sunscreen.. you'll notice a difference. Just note that the spots don't completely disappear. Need to stay out of the sun.

I have used several skinceuticals products and I like them all. I have some brown spots and I have used one bottle of this skin discoloration defense and I can definitely tell it is working. I need to continue this but waiting for a sale on skinceuticals again because it is really expensive but it works..

Not sure I could see results

Not an overnight miracle
I've been using this product for about five months to treat hyperpigmentation from acne. Some spots seemed to have faded a bit and look much better from how they did but they haven't gone away completely. There is improvement in my skin but it definitely takes time and consistently using this product.

I wanted to love this product, but after using a whole bottle (used once a day in the AM after my vitamin C), I saw no changes in my acne scars what so ever. But on a good note it never broke me out and the bottle lasted me a little over 4 months.

I really like Skinceuticals products and I was excited to try this one. Unfortunately it didn't fade my hyperpigmentation. I haven't found any product that works though, so it might just be my skin.

Came dark orange color
My bottle was never the color in the picture, when I opened it up it was already an orange color (not even yellow) and now it has become sticky and is orange on my skin (doesn't absorb). I think I just received a bad batch or it was stored improperly, I wish I had returned it when I first opened it. Love the CE Ferulic though. I just think this product is not very stable.
