I am new to SkinCeuticals but I have read good things about the skincare line. I have not been using the SkinCeuticals Glycolic Renewal Gel Cleanser very long. About a month. As I have become older my skin seems to be more sensitive. It's good if I test a new line out slowly, with a few products at a time. This cleaner seems to be working out fine. Sometimes I get a minor reaction ( in sensitivity ) when I use it so I back off a day. Be careful not to get it near the eyes. It stings. So far pretty good. I need more time to see results.

Best face wash ever!
It feels a little tingly about 90% of the time but my skin is so clean and nice I don’t even need foundation anymore. I don’t have any breakouts anymore but I’m also using tretinoin and hydroquinone. This does remove my tinted sunscreen, which is nice and it doesn’t feel super drying like some “gentle” soaps I’ve used in the past. Plus, my face is lighter after I started using this. Highly recommended.

I struggle with cleaners as I have aging but acne-prone skin. This cleanser was recommended to combat both. It cleanses well without stripping, which is key. It does sting a little on any healing acne, but my skin seems to be getting used to it. It’s a large size and a little goes a long way as it has a good lather.

Use Sun Protection
First time using this cleanser and noticed less pigmentation after several days. Instructions say to avoid sun due to making the skin more sensitive so i use lots of sunscreen ( i use skinceuticals brand sunscreen). I primarily look for products that are non-comedogenic; paraben, synthetic-fragrance,dye, alcohol, and soap-free and glad I found this. I am a loyal fan of skinceuticals (vouch for vitamin c serum) and am now able to expand my regime to include this step.
