Abundant Moisture
Purchased after being very pleased with other SkinCeuticals products & based on the outstanding reviews...it seems like people who purchased the product share my skin woes (acne, yet mild to significant dryness, melasma). I can say with a fair degree of certainty (despite reviews to the contrary) that if I use it daily, I DO get cystic acne - which is a huge concern...I do use it infrequently due to this concern, and am finding that if I just use it when I'm especially parched, or after I've had a mild peel, etc. I break out less and hopefully still receive the moisture I need. I've read that putting a few drops on your face underneath moisturizer is the way to go, however, also read combining a few drops with your moisturizer or sunscreen is great - I prefer this, and it seems to boost hydration and make my moisturizer spread beautifully. (I love Glycolix Ultra Lite Facial Cream which NEVER makes me break out.) Again, despite previous reviews, have noticed no impact on my melasma (not using it daily, though, due to noticing cystic acne crop up after regular use), hopefully others with less fussy skin will have better results. All this said, I definitely will buy this again to use as needed. I think it is just my crazy-finicky skin...winter/other climates may necessitate it's use.
