so not impressed
I really wanted to like this because of the great reviews, but for that price point, it's not worth it. I really try to give a shot and used about more than half the bottle and realized it was not helping my skin stay hydrated. If i put it on dry skin after I get out of the shower, the serum would immediately feel like it evaporate. It would feel tacky and then immediately disappear from my skin. Maybe because it draws moisture from the air and lately in SoCal it's been very dry, but I felt like the hyaluronic acid from the ordinary did the same thing if not a better job at hydrating. I know the hyaluronic from the ordinary has serious piling issues, but this hyaluronic also pills a little too. I just think for $83 I expected something magical. This is not it. Also, my skin is extremely sensitive and I've noticed since I started using this, I've developed a dry flaky spot that won't go away on my left cheek by my nose. WTF!? Isn't it supposed to help dry skin?! I looked up the ingredients and though the ingredients are minimal and great (aqua / water / eau, phenoxyethanol, calcium pantothenate, sodium hyaluronate), phenoxyethanol is the 2nd ingredient and then it's the b5 and then it's the hyaluronic ............. WHAT A JOKE....

Lightweight moisture miracle
Well this is amazing and especially when combined with the c e ferulic serum. The skinceutical combination of the 2 is transforming my skin. The vitamin c serum to help heal my skin and evening tone and the b5 hyaluronic acid gel to hydrate as well as better hold the moisture from my day cream. In addition it is wonderfully lightweight and not oily at all. A little goes a long way

This gel is everything. I use it after the ce ferrulic and it makes my face feel lovely and not tacky (ce ferrulic does that). I feel massively hydrated without being oily. It's a required product at this point for me.

Nice Moisturizer
I do not like to use lotion on my face. I am in my mid-50s and have never used facial moisturizer. I am often mistaken for being the daughter of my friends in their 60s when we are out together. I've decided to give Mother Nature a boost and start using a moisturizer. This hydrating gel is great for people like me. It absorbs immediately and doesn't make my face feel hot which is the main reason I have not used lotion on my face in the past.

Silky, liquid non tacky hyaluronic acid
I am so happy I tried this HA gel. I was a long time user of the HA Intensifier but hated the amount of alcohol and dimethicone in it and the Hydrating B5 has neither! It is a great addition to my routine and it wears great under makeup My skin looks supple and smoother after use.

Does its job
I am a big fan of C E Ferulic, but this product is not a wow for me. I have used one bottle of this, and then I do not find it more effective than a toner. It does its job to add some more moisture, but it definitely needs to work with something richer to give more moisture. Given its price, I am expecting something more effective on its own.
