Great Cleanser

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

So far I would recommend this product for sure! Great product for acne and breakout prone skin. I have not experienced breakouts since using this cleanser. It does have a but of a strong smell similar to paint but I can get past the smell for how well it works! The only major drawback is the packaging. You have to store the product upside down or it spills everywhere! It also comes out pretty quickly so beware when using it for the first time.

A little goes a long way

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is one of two cleansers I use. My skin is aging and acne-prone, and this works for both. A little goes a long way and lathers up nicely, so a bottle lasts a long time.

Poor packaging

3 stars out of a maximum of 5

So far it is working well, however it's easy to spill or waste as there is nothing to stop the cleanser from just spilling out once you open the lid. It would be much better in a pump form

Love this cleanser!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I was initially concerned that this cleanser would be too harsh for my skin. I was using another Skinceuticals cleanser and a Skinceuticals rep recommended the LHA cleanser during a consultation. I have been using this for almost a year now and I won't go back to another. This really cleans my face and does not cause significant redness even with my sensitive skin and rosacea. It's made a big difference in my adult acne also. Great product and worth the few extra dollars.

My skin is happy

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I absolutely love this face wash. You only need a tiny dime size amount and it lathers up. I have acne prone, large pore skin. I have tried so many products and they usually end up drying me out. I use this wash and for the first time in my life I feel like my skin is happy. I've been using this for about 3 months and in that time I haven't had a single breakout.

Good results!

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is on the mild side. I alternate this with the gentle cleanser and use more so at night. It leaves the skin taught but not tight. Noticed the acne healing process is faster with this product. DO NOT like the container packaging! Easy to waste product and hard to use with wet hands! Would be a whole lot better with a pump!

Not For Everyday Use

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This absolutely is not meant for everyday use at all. I used this alongside the Fresh Soy Cleanser (in the morning). I found myself not reaching for this often at all. Sadly a lot of people are accustom to that squeaky clean tight feeling after washing their face which explains the raving reviews. Skin should feel clean but not stripped. But this really dried my oily/combination/acne prone skin out. I use chemical exfoliants regularly within my toners, serums, and moisturizers but I've learned from this cleanser that I'll avoid using it within my face wash from now on. I've had this face wash for about 4 months and I dread it so much that it's still nearly 60% full despite washing my face twice a day. I workout heavy 4-5 days a week and I thought this would be great for post outdoor summer months in really hot Qatar but it was still far too drying. Origins Zero Oil is a much better alternative to this.

Not for me

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I have acne prone combination skin and was recommended this product by my esthetician. First impression, I was disappointed in myself for blindly following this advice because upon reading the ingredient list it contains sodium laureth sulfate which can be a skin irritant, among other things. However, since this was my oversight while ordering and a trusted professional recommended it, I decided to give it a fair try. It does not get my makeup off, and I have not seen any improvement in my skin. I have been using it for over three months now, and my skin is as breakout prone as ever. Disappointed for such a reputable brand and expensive product.

Post workout cleanser

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I love this cleanser for post workout showers. I sweat up a storm and I like to make sure I get my skin nice and clean since I started struggling with adult acne in my 30's. This product has been a nice addition to my regime. Has a tingling sensation, my skin feels clean but not tight. Also helpful on my shoulders and back in the summer, again post workout, when I tend to get a few more breakout from sweating.
